Coming second place in the class survey, Enutrofs were also shown to be one of the emblematic classes affected by our MP reduction changes. That's why we've decided to tackle their revamp, in order to place their class at the heart of these new mechanics and teach our old dogs some new tricks!

In keeping with class balancing, we have decided to review certain primary combat mechanics in WAKFU. And as per usual, that means a lot of changes. AP and MP removal, collisions, healing… In this devblog, we're going to explain the ins and outs of this global redesign, which required great force of will. But wait! What force of will are we talking about?

The Ouginaks will debut with the next update, and BenK, our Level and Graphic Designer, gives a brief background about his role and contribution to the new class!
New Class and a Revamp Devblog - September 29, 2017 - [Flatops]

It's the end of summer vacation for WAKFU too! The timing is just slightly off, as it's a short time until Ouginaks will be added to the game, while Enutrofs – by popular demand – will get a revamp.

Devblog: Ogrest Devblog - August 18, 2017 - [Flatops]

The time has finally come to take on Ogrest, closing out a saga that began early this year with Mount Zinit. But nothing and nobody – not even Otomai? – has prepared you for what's to come when you knock on his door.

With update 1.54, we continue to work on the global redesign aimed at building a complete and coherent system. Improvements to equipment and professions, and their impact on your game experience, are among the topics discussed in this devblog.

Ogrest has started to come out of hiding, but he's still not quite in range of our arrows! The problem is, we've got lots of (bad) company on the slopes of Mount Zinit. A difficult climb? Yeah, you could say that! You might even say that the difficulty is about to reach its zenith… A taste of what's to come with [Vertigo], [Trauma], and [Siu].

Greetings adventurers! Did you enjoy part one of Mount Zinit? Did Mishell reveal all of her secrets to you? I bet you can’t wait to see what’s hiding behind the door at the bottom of Lower Slope! Patience my friend. It will open soon enough. What you find there will be quite a surprise, in terms of the plot as well as the environment. All you need to know is that a character you know well is going to reveal their true face...

A few weeks ago, a new change appeared on the Beta server: the mysterious "uncapping of profession levels". Would you like to know more? In that case, you're in luck! [Siu] is dying to tell you all about it! And it goes without saying that this change brings with it some pretty big consequences...
Sacrier Revamp Devblog - March 17, 2017 - [Dy7]

This is why we're pleased to share our next step with you, the Stasis Dungeons ranking system: the Dungeon Leaderboard. And this time, to tell you more, here are [Exi], [Enio] and [Keldawa]!
A new zone has appeared! And not just any zone... So strap on your walking boots, and let's begin the hike up Mount Zinit! And to guide you, who better than [Scheik], [Siu] and [aLONfred]?
To sum it up: this feature will allow you to create items for your friends, but also for clients, in an entirely secure way. This is one of the community's recurring requests; we wanted to respond to it, while adapting it to WAKFU.
Did you like the new Astrub island? This time, we'll let you rediscover the dungeons! In the coming update, we offer you the chance to enter the Stasis Dungeons, the monsters inside are soaked with Stasis making them more powerful!

Simplifying steps, revamp of experience gained, addition of new rewards: the quest of Otomai's Disciples is getting an overhaul! It's time to come back to this symbolic character who, unintentionally and forevermore, has made his mark on the World of Twelve...
Do you remember?... Ogrest’s Chaos, the climatic disaster that changed the face of the world... Many were lost as a result of this catastrophe. Drowned in the torrents of tears, crushed by the power of the waves, sucked into the depths of the oceans, the inhabitants of the World of Twelve found a thousand different ways to die, but almost none survived.

For this Incarnam redesign, we have forged strong links between several key ideas from the Krosmoz and, specifically, the WAKFU MMO: Wakfu, Stasis, Ogrest, the Chaos and its origins. These are the same concepts that we are going to progressively develop and enrich over the course of the coming updates...

We are going to give a detailed explanation about the changes made to the acquisition rates of numerous game resources, as well as to the attempts each player makes with regards to the latter.
For the next major update of WAKFU, we’ve reviewed the attributes of all Epic and Relic items. Before you flip tables and make a mess, these changes are mostly positive!
With Fhenris, we're going to reveal a little more behind the scenes of WAKFU to you. He's the lead level designer, who has been working on the graphical overhaul of Monk Island!
Twenty kamas to go to the island of your dreams! Now that’s a golden deal, isn’t? You only have to pay for the boat ride from your Nation’s port once, and you get to be a tourist for the year! So, alright, yes, it’s raining, it’s dark, and it smells like an 80-year-old’s adult diaper. But what were you expecting for only 20 kamas?

Speck waited to hear the first screams from upstairs before freeing himself from his protective prison. The sound of the nearby carnage made him shudder. As he headed towards the stairs, he noticed a pale reflection in one of the cages… the story continues in this second part of the Crocodyls' background devblog!

In honor of Moon Island and its new zone, accessible in the next patch, we are offering you a series of background devblogs to gradually lift the curtain on its inhabitants: this weekend, the Legend of the Crocodyls will be unveiled!

Starting today, we’re going to take you behind the scenes of WAKFU regularly. On our first visit we’ll be accompanied by two 2D artists, NoSocks and Pulpo, who will tell us all about their latest creations, the Moon Monsters! You’ll find out more about their origins in a future publication that is more background-focused...

The Dark Side of Moon... Devblog - September 09, 2015 - [Dy7]
Your ancestors perhaps already walked these shores once upon a time. Way back then, Ogrest hadn’t yet sunk it beneath kalitres of salty tears. Kokoko milk flowed freely and four bodacious turtles, warriors of legend, held sway. Today, it has resurfaced from the depths of the ocean, and more than one exotic adventure awaits you there...
This is the second Devblog on the Heroes system. We’re going to go into more depth on the whole idea behind companies, on how they work exactly and on the gifts that are associated with the system.
While taking a stroll on the island of Forfut, you may catch a glimpse of old Viktoria-Franka Enstein and her vile dog Kooki: she walks her dog along the walls of the Miseryeum. The Miseryeum… A dungeon at the crossroads of life and death... Who will be brave enough to face Mama Z?
It’s finally here: the Devblog on the Heroes! Following the announcement of this new feature on the forum for the various betas, many of you had questions. Now it’s time to give you some more details. We’re going to be devoting three Devblogs to this topic, with each post focusing on a specific element of the upcoming feature.

Hi everyone! For those who aren’t familiar with my articles, I’ll be giving you an insider’s perspective on the major changes in the works for WAKFU. I’ll try to explain our choices, our constraints, the directions we’re taking, etc.

Remember, you saw an episode all about him in WAKFU the Series. Of course you remember... you trembled like a little Enutrofette when you saw him steal Evangelyne’s shadow!  Perhaps you’ve even come across him in game, on Forfut. Vampyro hasn’t uttered his last sluurp! (That’s the sound Vampyres make when they suck your blood.)
Much more than an optimization, the spell system is going to undergo a revamp that will spice up your fights and allow you to use some real strategy. By establishing a “deck” principle for active and passive spells, choice will once again be a central element in combat, making it possible to select weapons depending on the opponent!
In 2015, WAKFU will see the release of the Tormentator Knights that you are no doubt familiar with from other formats (DOFUS, manga, Krosmaster, etc.). Whereas these are accessible in DOFUS via the incarnation system, in WAKFU they’ll be available as Sidekicks. The five knights, called Flame, Cloud, Drop, Leaf and Darkness, will be released throughout the year. And the first to show up will be the Flame Knight! Want to find out more about these new arrivals? Then keep reading, as this should answer most of your questions.
A shadow hangs over the peaks of Kelba. Could this be the Black Crow? Almost... the new threat seems far more sinister and is known as Steel Beak, the bird of misfortune. A figure who loves to pick on poor travelers, and only ever leaves a few traumatized survivors behind. But who is this dreaded… Steel Beak?
Cras have had trouble staying competitive compared to the other classes for some time now. When playing alone, Cras are penalized by the small size of the battlefield and the number of monsters that can easily reach them.
In group play, Cras inflicted less damage in comparison to other classes.
Although the Iop can properly deal damage, it has trouble keeping up in a fight due to its game mechanics and the fact that it only has close-quarter spells. This especially holds true in multi-player mode, where the monsters are often very tough melee fighters. Its movement spells are also somewhat costly. All in all, it isn't easy for an Iop to survive combat that goes on for a longer period of time.
Those who have ventured to Srambad know him as the one leading the chase on the Dimensional Voyagers. But who – or what is this dark being? Want to find out? Well, why not listen to a dishonest citizen of Srambad speaking about the leader of the Malicious Militia?
Pandawa's Revamp Devblog - December 05, 2014 - [Sabi]
Despite his musky smell, the new Pandawa is far from being repulsive! Everything has been done to give the class a more enjoyable gameplay, while keeping the basic structure of the class! Ready for a taste?
Devblog: Updater Devblog - October 13, 2014 - [Sabi]
Ask any game designers, they will tell you that the first few minutes of game-play are critical: that's when the player gets to discover the game, and decide whether it's worth their time or not. That's why we put a lot of care into Incarnam, Astub and the whole new player experience, but what happens before all that?
Focus: PvP Devblog - September 08, 2014 - [Sabi]
Starting from the next update, Nations will be able to take one another on in intense NvN combats. Players will now be able to choose to become Guards and defend their Nations, or join the fearsome Riktus rebels whose clan is about to hit the game. Read on to discover all the details of this new feature.
Hello everyone, it's been a while since I did not write a "Letter to the Community." I know some of you were asking for its return and it is now here!
