In a dark crypt usually inhabited by skeletal Ratous and scrawny Arachnees, a tall man dressed in black was walking in circles. The room was poorly lit and damp, with silk webs fluttering in one of the many freezing air currents flowing throughout the space…

We'd like to introduce the new PvP (player versus player) functionality coming with the December update. We're talking about battlefields!
Today we're unveiling a new kind of dungeon: the Mineral Tower. How do you get there, what kind of combat will there be, and what are the rewards? This devblog provides answers to all these questions.

A new class is sniffing around the World of Twelve. Their name – Ouginaks – might throw you off the scent and their puppy-dog eyes might send you barking up the wrong tree. But don't be fooled, they are from a ferocious pedigree and the definition of carnivorous!

Coming second place in the class survey, Enutrofs were also shown to be one of the emblematic classes affected by our MP reduction changes. That's why we've decided to tackle their revamp, in order to place their class at the heart of these new mechanics and teach our old dogs some new tricks!

In keeping with class balancing, we have decided to review certain primary combat mechanics in WAKFU. And as per usual, that means a lot of changes. AP and MP removal, collisions, healing… In this devblog, we're going to explain the ins and outs of this global redesign, which required great force of will. But wait! What force of will are we talking about?

The Ouginaks will debut with the next update, and BenK, our Level and Graphic Designer, gives a brief background about his role and contribution to the new class!
New Class and a Revamp Devblog - September 29, 2017 - [Flatops]

It's the end of summer vacation for WAKFU too! The timing is just slightly off, as it's a short time until Ouginaks will be added to the game, while Enutrofs – by popular demand – will get a revamp.

Devblog: Ogrest Devblog - August 18, 2017 - [Flatops]

The time has finally come to take on Ogrest, closing out a saga that began early this year with Mount Zinit. But nothing and nobody – not even Otomai? – has prepared you for what's to come when you knock on his door.

With update 1.54, we continue to work on the global redesign aimed at building a complete and coherent system. Improvements to equipment and professions, and their impact on your game experience, are among the topics discussed in this devblog.

Ogrest has started to come out of hiding, but he's still not quite in range of our arrows! The problem is, we've got lots of (bad) company on the slopes of Mount Zinit. A difficult climb? Yeah, you could say that! You might even say that the difficulty is about to reach its zenith… A taste of what's to come with [Vertigo], [Trauma], and [Siu].

Greetings adventurers! Did you enjoy part one of Mount Zinit? Did Mishell reveal all of her secrets to you? I bet you can’t wait to see what’s hiding behind the door at the bottom of Lower Slope! Patience my friend. It will open soon enough. What you find there will be quite a surprise, in terms of the plot as well as the environment. All you need to know is that a character you know well is going to reveal their true face...

A few weeks ago, a new change appeared on the Beta server: the mysterious "uncapping of profession levels". Would you like to know more? In that case, you're in luck! [Siu] is dying to tell you all about it! And it goes without saying that this change brings with it some pretty big consequences...
Sacrier Revamp Devblog - March 17, 2017 - [Dy7]
Many of you have been following the evolution of the Sacrier Revamp in the beta and have been contributing to its final version. Thank you, everyone! It was great! Today, we're going to give you a summary of the major changes to the Sacrier's gameplay.
Since the release of the Stasis Dungeons, many of you have told us that you've been waiting for a new dimension to PvM in WAKFU. This is why we're pleased to share our next step with you, the Stasis Dungeons ranking system: the Dungeon Leaderboard. And this time, to tell you more, here are [Exi], [Enio] and [Keldawa]!
A new zone has appeared! And not just any zone... So strap on your walking boots, and let's begin the hike up Mount Zinit! And to guide you, who better than [Scheik], [Siu] and [aLONfred]?
To sum it up: this feature will allow you to create items for your friends, but also for clients, in an entirely secure way. This is one of the community's recurring requests; we wanted to respond to it, while adapting it to WAKFU.
Did you like the new Astrub island? This time, we'll let you rediscover the dungeons! In the coming update, we offer you the chance to enter the Stasis Dungeons, the monsters inside are soaked with Stasis making them more powerful!
The main WAKFU adventure continues with the arrival of the fifth and final chapter in the Quest of Nations. The epic final takes us back to Sufokia to explore its forgotten depths... Find out more about the new quest in Update 1.50: Lairs and Lizards in this devblog!

While waiting for today's update, read all about the changes for Astrub Island with this devblog. This redesign aims to offer new players an immersive environment, and abundant content!
[SPOILER!] The main adventure in WAKFU MMO is back with the fourth chapter in the Quest of Nations. This time the light is shining on Brakmar or should we say it's darkness... Discover more about this upcoming adventure in this devblog today!

Simplifying steps, revamp of experience gained, addition of new rewards: the quest of Otomai's Disciples is getting an overhaul! It's time to come back to this symbolic character who, unintentionally and forevermore, has made his mark on the World of Twelve...
Do you remember?... Ogrest’s Chaos, the climatic disaster that changed the face of the world... Many were lost as a result of this catastrophe. Drowned in the torrents of tears, crushed by the power of the waves, sucked into the depths of the oceans, the inhabitants of the World of Twelve found a thousand different ways to die, but almost none survived.

For this Incarnam redesign, we have forged strong links between several key ideas from the Krosmoz and, specifically, the WAKFU MMO: Wakfu, Stasis, Ogrest, the Chaos and its origins. These are the same concepts that we are going to progressively develop and enrich over the course of the coming updates...
