We have decided to improve and update the contents of the WAKFU shop.

Our main goals are as follows:

• Lower the price of certain items for most players;
• Offer the same items for all communities;
• Gradually reintroduce items that were no longer accessible;
• Update packs containing obsolete or less interesting items;
• Remove items that the community no longer seems interested in.

This update to the Shop will take place on November 24.

Price reductions

We have decided that the price of items in ogrines should be the same for all communities.

The prices in real currencies (euros, dollars etc.) for ogrine packs will continue to be specific for each community.

The prices of many items will be reduced to make them more attractive.

Most players will see reductions in the ogrine prices in the shop.

The server merger has brought together players from different communities.

We hope to avoid any excessive price discrepancies between communities that share the same game servers.

We have decided to provide you with a precise list of all the changes to ogrine prices in the shop, and to indicate what the highest recorded prices had previously been and what the new prices will be.

Special case for Elbor server:

In October 2015, players on the Elbor server experienced a rollback of over 4 months.

Following this incident, one part of the compensation we gave to the affected players took the form of an unlimited promotion on prices in ogrines in the shop.

Five years later, we have made the decision to end this promotion on purchases made in ogrines.

Reintroduction of old items and removal of limited-time offers

We will no longer be making limited-time offers (other than offers linked to events like Saint Ballotwine, Al Howin, etc.).

The majority of our offers will be "permanent", and you'll be able to find your favorite items in the shop anytime.

We will be gradually reintroducing most items to the shop that had been available in limited-time offers in the past ("Flash" offers for a period of 1 to 2 weeks).

All items will be available for all communities (which was not the case before).

Removal of certain items

Certain items have a very low sales volume (purchased less than ten times per year), and in cases where this isn't a problem of an overly high price, we feel that it's best to remove these items from the shop.

We need to be careful that the shop doesn't contain "too many" items, to keep it from becoming too cumbersome to browse.

We think that while it's important to add interesting new items, it's just as important to remove ones that players have found less interesting.

We want to avoid having items become permanently inaccessible once they are removed from the shop.

In most cases, the items that are removed from the shop will become available in-game over the course of later updates (via recipes, loot etc.) or during community events.

We have decided to remove certain items from the shop which are currently sold in the shop and can also be acquired in-game.

In this situation, there is always one method of acquiring an item that dominates over the other and invalidates it. It is not possible for us to find a sustainable balance between the price of an item in the shop (stable over time) and its price in-game (potentially unstable).

Whenever possible, we have made the decision to remove the items in question from the shop and to prioritize making them available in-game.

Services

Our goal for this category is to reduce the number of items and their prices.

To simplify our offers, we are removing packs that contain multiple copies of the same service, and replacing them with services sold individually but at a lower price.

Consumables

Transformation consumables are being removed from the shop. They may be gradually reintroduced in-game later.

Prices on consumables are not being reduced because they were already reduced in Update 1.67.

Packs

We want to allow players to buy all packs with ogrines (so that you can buy them via the Conversion Stone, for example).

Therefore, we have decided to remove the ogrines included in packs, as well as mounts (replaced by the mount skin system introduced in Update 1.65).

The elements removed from the packs will be replaced by Haven Bag Chest tabs (of equivalent value).

Sidekicks

Packs containing multiple Sidekicks have been removed and replaced by Sidekicks sold individually but at a lower price.

The prices of all Sidekicks have been standardized.

Costumes

Prices on all costumes have been reduced.

Sets

This category will be disappearing from the shop, because sets are in competition with costumes and the community does not seem sufficiently interested in them.

Since the Invisible Set cannot be used on its own, it is combined with 5 Mimisymbics in a new pack.

Runs

The prices of the most expensive runs have been reduced.

We are re-introducing old runs in the shop to provide a larger number of permanent options.

Emotes

The prices of certain emotes will be reduced.

Certain emotes will be removed from the shop, and may eventually be available in-game.

Mounts

The mounts sold in the shop provide significant bonuses and compete with the other mounts that can be obtained in-game.

We are trying to offer more cosmetic items and fewer items with an impact on characters' in-game effectiveness.

We have therefore decided to stop selling mounts in the shop and to focus on mount skins.

The "Mounts" category will therefore be removed from the shop.

Mount Skins

To compensate for mounts' removal from the shop, we have recreated a mount skin for the Gradon, the Dragosteed, and the Gobball War Chief.

The prices for mount skins will be reduced (except for the Obsidian Dragosteed Skin).

Haven Bag Decorations

The many Haven Bag Decorations have not met with much interest from the community.

We have decided to group the decorations by theme into packs (which are similar to the "Bedrooms" found in the shop) and to reduce the prices.

Haven Gems

The Haven Gems sold in the shop are in competition with the ones that can be obtained in-game.

We have decided to remove the Haven Gems from the shop so that they can only be obtained in-game from now on.

Haven Bag Kits

The Haven Bag Kits have not met with much interest from the community.

We have decided to remove them from the shop.

It will be possible to obtain them in-game in future updates (or as part of community events or included in promotions that group multiple items together).

Haven World Decorations

The Haven World Decorations have not met with much interest from the community.

We have decided to remove them from the shop.

It will be possible to obtain them in-game in future updates.

Pets

The prices of certain pets will be reduced.

Packs containing multiple pets, or a pet and a mount, will be removed from the shop.

The Mummifying Candy is removed from the shop and will be obtainable in-game.

Pet customization items have seen very little interest from the community, so they are being removed from the shop.

Storage

We are not making any changes to this category.

We are aware that the bags and boxes sold in the shop are in competition with the ones obtained in-game, but we do not have a viable solution for this problem in the short term.

Titles

Title packs have met with very little interest from the community, and we prefer to distribute them in-game.

They are therefore being removed from the shop, and will be obtainable in-game in future updates.

Mystery Boxes

The Mystery Boxes that are permanently available in the shop have met with little interest from the community.

We have decided to stop offering them permanently in the shop.

Finishers

We have decided to add Finishers permanently in the shop, while also reducing their prices.
