Hands pressed together on his chest. Eyes closed. Breathe in through the belly... And a deep breath out... "Pfff..."

Pandiego was starting his third sun salutation. The soothing sound of the waterfalls all around, along with the unbelievable view, provided a perfect setting for his daily yoga session. Who would have thought that under his oafish exterior and general lack of manners, Pandiego might have a touch of unsuspected wisdom? And maybe even a refined side...

Pandalucia, the Pandawas' new home after Pandala was submerged by the rising waters of Ogrest's Chaos, is a veritable Ingloriom on earth. With its lush landscapes, its many water sources, its high peaks and its bamboo homes known for their sparse, Zen-like decor, it's no surprise that it has become a refuge for many Twelvians exhausted by the hustle and bustle of city life.

Hands pressed together over his head. Back straight. Sun salutation. Upward Ouginak. Downward Ouginak.

Breathe in through the belly...

And a deep breath out...

Sitting cross-legged on the forearm of the Grand Puddah statue, Pandiego let the exhilarating feeling of peacefulness wash over him. He allowed himself these moments of relaxation, nearly as intoxicating as a brisk shot of fermented bamboo milk, to help give him the energy he needed to take on his day as an adventurer.

But on that particular day, he was having a bit of trouble concentrating... A lovely young adventurer occupied his mind, preventing him from being fully there, mindful of the present moment... There was nothing he could do to stop it. Even the melody of the freshwater falls, normally so pleasant, seemed to roar inside his head, jumbling his every thought. His head felt like it was in a fog.

He needed to move.

Pandiego decided to go for a little walk in the bamboo grove. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but there was something soothing about this place. Along the way, the flowers swaying in the wind provided a beautiful show. But as his gaze lingered on one of them, the first thing that came to his mind was the flower that the young Pandawa had worn in her hair.

There was no doubt about it: she was everywhere he looked...

Pandiego had only known her for a brief moment. Back then, he had helped her when she was grappling with the Thirsters, all tangled up in the middle of the Salt Marsh. With just a single glance, he had fallen under the charm of that strong-willed adventurer...

With his tendency to spend most of his time holed up in his laboratory, Pandiego had almost forgotten what a strong attachment to another person felt like... But when the young adventurer first appeared in his life, it was like a bomb going off. Awakening the sentimental and romantic soul hidden deep within him. He continued walking up toward the Summit of a Thousand Mists, stretched out on the ground, and closed his eyes... Enjoying how the blades of grass felt as they gently caressed his skin.

What if he went out to find her?

A bamboo tree never leaves its bamboo grove, he liked to say… But not this time. Without thinking, the Pandawa ran straight for Chendu Harbor. It was decided: he would take the first ship for the continent, where the young woman had told him she was headed. While waiting for one of the boats moored there to finally get underway, Pandiego passed the time sitting on a pier, skipping stones into the sea.

Lost in his thoughts, he stared at the ripples in the water. When suddenly, a reflection appeared among them. The reflection of a face that was lovely to look upon. She was everywhere he looked. In every tiny corner of the Krosmoz. In even the briefest daydream he chose to linger over...

But this time, he wasn't dreaming. She was really there, waiting for him.

A bamboo tree never leaves its bamboo grove…
