Payment Process

By June 08, 2011, 03:23:41

So I'm new to the Wakfu/Dofus games. I heard about them on the Final Fantasy 14 forums a few weeks ago because SquareEnix is producing the game in the US and Japan. I've been playing Wakfu for about a week now and I very much enjoy the game, and the cartoon is also great. The only thing that worries me is the payment process.

From my understanding in Dofus you get what you pay for, meaning most of it is free content but some is paid. Is it balanced to where the paid content doesnt completly make the free content worthless?

This is why I like monthly subscriptions, it puts everyone on the same level. I guess it's ok the have it where you pay for what you want, but do they do things like. You want that epic armor, then pay $5 for it?

What is the payment process?

They say dofus is f2p/p2p..but everyone knows it's p2p...F2p is covered in bots and they can do nothing at all... They can buy any armours..etc but really f2p is like 20 maps big..

Yea, you should better pay for it.

I played Dofus a while, but Wakfu I don't know much about it yet, but I guess this will be p2p(/f2p) also.

Dofus works on the subscription system. 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 1 year. You don't pay for specialised boosts.
Wakfu will hopefully be the same, but nothing has been announced yet.
