World content unbalanced
By vladilmago#8267 - MEMBER - July 18, 2022, 18:28:30Is the world content unbalanced?
I mean, There are lots of dungeon and rather than running them people level up to 230 to crocs and then kannibals if not directly kannibals.
Should exp earning and drop earning lure the people out of that damn place?
Still is so slow to level your main character up to 230...
Yes there are rifts, a good way to have some content mixed with kannibals. Funny done alone with 24 AP but exp is worth only with hero mode on and in the end you are still doing moon rift...
Any thoughts?
Isn't most of community leveling at kannibals rather than doing other stuff?

Then i got recommended to try rifts and oh boy it was love on first sight
for one character lvling it's insanely good, Sram got from 204 to 224 in less than a week
now osa and shushu rifts are only things i enjoy doing in this game
(there was just one downside, had to abandon all other characters and focus on sram only
Kanni mobs are just the style right now. I don't think its really all that bad, if their exp is nerf'd or changed people will just find something else.
you can keep to mobs your level also, Kanni mobs is just if you want to shut your brain off and get numbers.
Of course it's unbalanced. At least experience wise. I'm currently at level 201. Played since the beginning with big pauses inbetween. No booster, no sides, no heroes. My gear is probably mediocre, around level 185 stuff just slightly enchanced.
Simple example - Moon monsters:
15 s fight (1 turn 1monster), 8-10 m exp. , 20s fight ( 2 turns 1x Kannibal Lymi 14,9 m exp.)
36 s fight (3 turns, 2 monster), 13 m exp.
Dreggons:
25 s fight(1 monster Dregger) 12-15 m exp.
and not only does he have more init than me so he starts the fight, he is not a 1 turn kill like most Moon monsters. I lose around half HP.
So the only upside is the chance of getting better loot. The downside - longer, more demanding fights and have to use food, with same or even less exp as Moon.
And sadly due to the monsters 186-200 range having a lot better stats, they have around 2 times the HP and 2 times the damage, plus gimmicky mechanics, I cannot even solo most of them
So yes, I feel the lack of balancing, and at my current level the transition from level 171-185 content to 186-200 is just a pain in the black hole. Fights go from super easy mode 1 turn kill, no HP loss, to monster lower than my level that can 3 turn kill me and I can barely scratch them. They often have healing, passives making then invulnerable, I have none (Xelor).
I'd rather see smooth curve, where I can solo monsters around my level and the problems starts at groups. And of course the tougher the fight, the better the rewards - XP included.
Right now it's scaled in a way that I can hardly touch new content and monsters from 190+, so the option is to level up on boring stuff, and grinding Moon, trying to get new Eq as well, and then maybe after a long time have a chance at 186-200 range.
Fighting more than 1 monster of course boosts your drops, but all the weird monster family mechanics are enabled, and some of them get much harder to kill with just a little boost to XP.
Trading seeds, doing env challenges nets you good exp and with zero problems. Each content bracket up is around 20% more exp. And you are still doing same things.
Of course I'm probably biased, because I play solo and have no heroes and no team and I don't really play much. So this is just my point of view.
I agree with your words. The transition from 171-185 to 186-200 content is no way smooth unlike previous level ranges.
Another thing I would like emphasis is that leveling up doing b o r i n g stuff "isn't the only option", but instead "the most efficient option". I might be biased due to circumstances like not using boosters etc, BUT I feel like the "fun" 186-200 content has a lower experience/time ratio when compared to tediously grinding in Moon.
now not just als set is needed but key too
and if you are only learning the fight and constantly dying, well, get punished with debuff and go heal if you have no bread
all those factors result into almost no one caring for that content anymore
