Hello, Adventurer.

If you can read this note, it is because you were chosen from a large panel of participants.
You have been accepted as a new investigator in the international militia.
You will be able to take up your duties from 01 Octolliard 977.
In order to integrate yourself into the rest of the team, we invite you to join our Division of Investigations for Security against Crimes in Organisation and the Regulation of Deviants: D.I.S.C.O.R.D., starting today.
As this post is imbued with Foggernaut magic, you will be able to find this division by clicking on this link: https://discord.gg/Q6YTmtg

Due to a lack of personnel within the militia, you will be called upon to contribute to an ongoing investigation from your first day.
In order to get to know your teammates and brief you on your mission, we invite you to introduce yourself to Touitsh Tivi.
The meeting is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. on September 30, 977 (Paris time). You can find it here: https://twitch.tv/elio_centrique
No delay will be tolerated, neither for you nor for the rest of your team members.
A debrief will be posted afterwards on this post in order to remind you of the details of the breifing.

We thank you for your cooperation, and we hope for a fruitful collaboration.
Yours truly,
Militiaman Goss Tof

Doesn't this go against the ToS with the discord links? Cause all other discord links got removed for just that reason...

the D.I.S.C.O.R.D. network is not mandatory to participate to the investigation.
However, it's highly recommanded to join it to be informed to all the announces made during the investigation.
The Livestream of today will give every info you need to know to participate to the investigation and a debrief of this livestream will be posted after on this topic.

Hello ^^

D.I.S.C.O.R.D. just enables you to get real time news on the event and meet other players, but if you don't want to use it, you can come back here to read the debrief, which will contain useful information for you to start the investigation tomorrow, like the other participants !

Speaking about the forum rules, you can post any link, including discord links, if you ask and obtain Ankama's authorisation : ToU section 5.3.3, what we did. Thank you Ankama for this biggrin

We hope you'll enjoy the investigation !

Hello everyone.

Here is the debrief of 09/30/2020:
Your mission is to solve a crime investigation.
In order not to alert the population, the details of this investigation will be communicated to you via the militia platform: https://alhowin.elio-centrique.fr

The rules are very simple: It is forbidden to divulge any information about this investigation.
Obviously, it is also forbidden to hinder the progress of other investigators.

As previously stated, accessing D.I.S.C.O.R.D is not mandatory but highly recommended for getting the latest news from the investigation.

You will be asked to solve puzzles every day in order to advance the investigation.
It is advisable to keep the answers to the riddles somewhere, they could serve you as a clue to another riddle.

The end goal is to find the culprit, his motive, his weapon, and much more information.

You will obviously be rewarded for your progress.
For having taken part in the investigation, you will obtain the title of "Puzzlehunter 977".
For solving the investigation and answering the 31 puzzles the day of their release, you will get the Fan Costume.
For having passed the special stage of 31 Octolliard, you will get 7 days of booster pack.

Good luck, investigator. You will need it to solve this investigation.

This was a very clever and fun event, and I'm glad to have been a part of it. There were some points where it felt like communication could have been a little more clear, or some proofreading, but all in all it was very enjoyable. Hope to see more player-run events like this.
