Why is Modio Operandi an invaid name?

By cody5 - MEMBER - May 10, 2020, 17:48:23

I was gonna go for a clever pun on modus operandi for my masquaraider (it translates to acting, according to google translate), but the game says it's an invalid name?

I don't see anything wrong with it

Blindguessing here, no idea, but could it be related to starting with the string "mod" in order to prevent names like "moderator" or something like that? I wouldn't be surprised if it were related to some crappy automatic filter too.

it is because of mod
you cant name anything with that word

So you can't use words like modified, model, module, modern, commodity, immodest and stuff? That's stupid.

Kind of a bummer because of the "mod" part, also, I think a name like this "Modus Operantis" would be MUCH better for Sram because this is a common term used in police investigations to describe the routine and methods of a murderer.

Yes that's modus operandi (not operantis).

I was going for a pun because masqueraders switch their MO depending on their masks, and Modio Operandi apparently means acting (at least according to google translate) so I thought it would be a perfect name.
