Thanks for all the discussion, most of it useful. Unfortunately, almost everyone ignored a lot of what I said:

Mostly, I'm annoyed that old players complain about new low level content.
Ok, I could have written "some old players" to spare some backlash. True.
I wasn't "dividing" the player-base into high and low level players. I was encouraging high level players to see the value in new players and a better experience for them. I'm truly sorry if my complaining about "whiners" seemed like an attack on you personally.
One of my friends that I invited over to Wakfu, as he did the Incarnam storyline, had an issue with one of the quests where it asked him to kill a certain number of monsters, yet those monsters didn't exist. He had to kill every monster he could find until the number finally changed in order for him to figure out what he needed to kill. Pretty sure this is something that would immediately put off new players, and pretty sure it's been reported before. Anyway, the point is that there's always going to be something putting off new players; why not focus on keeping the ones that stick around?

My girlfriend started before the tutorial but it was basically unplayable and didn't really teach you much. But after the revamp, she doesn't "dislike" the idea of the game anymore.
I was thinking more along the lines of the new Astrub that's coming, I agree that a better Incarnam was required. The devs' reasoning about Incarnates and players wanting to play the class they just created was sound. My friend had no issues with how Astrub was laid out, the only issues he had was with quests' wording, and how you had to actively seek out quests without knowing whether there were quests around or not.
If any more changes for the low levels are needed, then pointing them in the right direction would be a good change from how things are now. Let there be hidden quests, but also show them that once they're level 13 and have nothing else to aim for, that there's a quest waiting for them at level 15. Like a grayed-out quests with a red message saying "you must be level 15 to take part in this quest".
I still want more high level content. Something to compete with Moon dungeons/equips, to give us an alternative to only one terrible grind.

IMO it worked/.
