Silly Gear Stats

While many of the changes made the gear look better. Some of the gear became questionable. So I figure we can post screen shots of some of the odd combos of new stats on gear.

I will start it off.

For example When range helms have close combat damage and none of the other new stats.

sac get +range on attraction, pull monster in cc, hit in close combat.

+ range is quite standard thing of lv 100+ helm in Ankama dictionary.

I think even an helm with range and lock is a nosense
dodge would be a lot better

You know, there are classes that play melee AND ranged. WOOO!
The helmet fits my berzerk/water Enu perfectly, If I berzerk, I have more damage, if is get to this sacks for drops, I have a range more.

Personally i think weirdest combination goes for Pinhead
+1 Range
+101 HP
+20 Lock
+20 Dodge
+30% damage for 2 random elements
+15% Backstab Damage
+20% area Damage
+22% Resist.
+10% Resist. to attacks from behind

You're correct.

Sacrifice and Transposition are moddable though. So I guess it makes a decent Sac helmet now.

I truly don't understand adding Berserk damage and aoe damage. That's just so troll for Sacs.
or even backstab and aoe damage.

But I do like how they buffed Spin ache, one of the best weapons in the game. Especially because it's like the only one that gives ini and takes no stats away.

That actually sounds pretty solid for a Water / Fire Pandawa that focuses on Dairy Springers backstabbing! Or a Sram. Srams can always use some lock and dodge, and I think some of their abilities are areas.

Also, in general, Lock is really useful against mobs if you can get even close to equal their dodge; so long as they don't teleport, they should be paying the AP/MP costs! Nice way to debuff your enemies. ohmy

mistook with transpo. tongue still need range to kite boss in some dungeon anyway.

Gear is all about making choices. In order to make choices meaningful and satisfying, there have to be some good options and some bad ones. Less optimal gear has it's place in the game as a way demonstrate system mastery. Also, while an item may seem silly from your perspective, somebody may want to experiment with an unusual, unique build. Items such as these allow for that sort of experimentation. Once again, it's all about letting people make choices and then discover the results of those choices (for good or ill).
