Drop revamp beta?

Last year you said you would give us a drop revamp then you said it was for june/july.

half of the year already and I see no drop revamp beta. what happened to it? Ryf? Dy7?

Drop thing goes worse, they capped pp, made some dungeons hardcore, made an island no pp lock but so low drop chance. I really hope they can decide something. We dont have a drop system at the moment, it is different everywhere.
It's been said a thousand times, Ankama, just remove the pp cap until the proper drop revamp implementation ._.

The drop revamp is still planned. It is included in a global revamp of many aspects of the game because all these revamps has a direct impact on other ones.

The global revamp touches two global axes:
  • Players evolution: it affects items stats, obtaining items, player characteristics, guideline, monster balancing...
  • HP/Damage/Resist problematic: it affects items stats, player characteristics, monster balancing, etc.

Because we will revamp some items and get into balancing monsters, we will include the Lock/Dodge in the modifications to have a healthy global system.

The "obtaining items" part concerns: Craft, drop and items' rarity. Items' rarity is already included in the items modifications. Drop need some few retakes and to be synchronised with Craft, while Craft need a lot of improvements.

We will also do improvements on player characteristics and guideline at the same time.

It's good to hear that we can expect some changes. Hopefully most of these related systems will in fact be changed at the same time or in a way that benefits the community. The wait will be excruciating of course but it's great to get some feedback regarding topics we haven't shut up about.

Ok, Dy7 is now in my "awesome people from Ankama list" ( at top ) ( it is a very short list already )
I'm hoping this for july/august too. It's so hard to hard to drop anything that I'm broke all the time kama wise. Also I'm bored of mining all the time which is what I've been doing since this game was released to get items lol

Since we recieved valuable information in this thread, don't you think it'd be appropriate to have the DEV tag next to the thread as well? Hopefully you can do that for us sabi.
There seems to be an issue where RyF and Dy7 don't have the tags applied to their accounts at present, I'm sure that'll get fixed up asap =)

Soon is enough, panda should be here at september/december 2013, now will make 1 year, and so on. This is why they don't give us a time.

The mounts was going to be at 1 year almanax, now will close 2 years and wasn't expect to 2014. So now is on beta. Wakfu is a living changing universe, so just enjoy the projects, and don't try to hug a timeline cause u will be hurt, like someone hug to Game of thrones characters... (like dreams, they will die, soon)

I just had a thought. What if gears do different things depending on your highest element(s)?

I don't know if that would be good or bad. Anyway.. carry on.

So true.

At the same time, I kinda understand what they're going through(or am trying to anyways). Considering the time gap, I believe they've already done this over like several times. After all, what comes to us, is a result of several revamps and they probably don't know which one will be the final version.

I'm just glad that things are moving. Well, not always glad(damn that firewall nerf ._.), but glad that new content is added over time.
The drop revamp sounds really complicated according to Dy7... They have to revamp/implement a lot of other things along side it. I'm glad they aren't abandoning it though.
