XP CURVE - REVAMP : Refund of XP?

By owut - MEMBER (+) - November 27, 2013, 20:52:59
So basically what I wanted to discuss is that with the upcoming revamp on the xp curve; will we be refunded for the hard work that we put in to make it as far as we have come now. Like if its going to be around 1/3 less xp per level, how is that fair to everyone whos already put in the time to get to say lvl 110-140.

It's only right and fair that the amount of xp we have accumulated up to this point is now put into the new curve and our levels are adjusted accordingly. Its rude of the Dev team to think our time and effort should be valued so lightly.

Thats just my thoughts. If anyone has anything to add please contribute.

I doubt it, and just because it is less exp per level does not mean it will be easier. It will actually be much harder to level in some ways.
Your compensation for powerleveling as much as you have is that you got to win fights against monsters that drop current endgame gear while PP was still uncapped. Those who come after you can expect to spend a lot more time trying to drop or buy gear than you had to.

That is a pretty good point. I agree completely.
I'm 140 and I say we don't need any compensation.
No we don't need any compensation.
130+ no compensation needed. It's all ok now.
I'm 98% sure that we won't receive anything, even if it was fair to us. Because I already know Ankama pretty well.

Not saying that i don't agree with you guys but what about all the solo players who struggled to get as high as they are today? If they were not an enu there is no way they would have had the chance to get many of the drops with PP caps and all.

That's why we need the token system! It's damn near impossible for soloing noobs to find gear without the help from others giving it to them.

Care to explain this statement further?
Maybe~ in order to compensate the fact that it will now take less exp to gain levels...they will in turn lower all the exp that battles with monsters, exp gained in challenges and in quests... Only seems fair when you think about it...nothing will really change.

Big scary numbers become slightly smaller seemingly more manageable ones. Then experience gain on all levels and in every situation will be lowered. Same situation, seemingly less daunting when in fact nothing is different other than the numbers....

just maybe, though. '3'
