Magmog =/= Feca follower?

By ThyHolyOverlord - MEMBER (+) - March 17, 2013, 13:53:44
The story is that someone put a gobball of fire and thats how the little furball became a fire breathing, meteor casting sheep that lives inside a volcano and eat Eniripsa for breakfast.

But i have a different theory: Magmog is a follower of the Feca goddess. Its not unbiased as i have some sort of proof.

Evidence 1: Its resistance is ridiculously high which is a feca thing.

Evidence 2: Meteor is a spell that belongs to fire Feca's arsenal, as does the aura which is actually a Phelles harmor in disguise and it uses its Feca's knowledge to destroy enemy glyphs.

Evidence 3: The armors dropped all give a rebound status pretty much just like the feca passive.

As for me, I always saw the feca class as a sheppard. I'd like all classes to have more history on their role play, having spells and passives that would be more linked to the chaar history. I'd like to see a feca having a connection with gobbal in game, like if he could summon one or something.

As for magmog, he is a gobbal, then you should include Gobsage and Excarnus tongue
Don't forget that volcano is one of Feca's more powerful spells, second only to Pheles in my opinion.

I can see the connection, definitely. Is there any existing lore behind the boss?
Would be cool if it was a feca cursed O_O.
I like your theory lol.
I dont think its a curse, the Feca goddess is just trolling all feca's with a "Look disciples i can do this kind of stuff to ^^"

@kaku: There are 2 kinds of books that explain how Magmog was created to what he is now, you can find them in his quest. no idea if its still available tho smile

Since that quest was removed for ease of access, those two books are now relics/collectibles. smile I kept my couple of copies for the heck of it.

I also wonder how feca relates to Shushu. (according to feca skill effect and new up coming skill, Shushu mark)

Here's an old devblog that has Magmog's backstory. happy

I think it's mostly just all of the information that was available in the books that TheHolyOverlord was talking about, though, although I never did the quests myself. tongue
*happy i have these rare books now*
