Need help on tri-element off tank panda
By clementdubled - MEMBER - October 05, 2018, 13:00:51Hi ![]()
I've read quite a bit on this forum about all sorts of panda builds, but i still have some doubts so i need your help. What i'd like to do is a tri-element off-tank build who's gameplay would be mostly in close combat while still being threatening in distance combat :
- Get-in in worn out state and tank with six roses and bamboozle (mostly earth-based spells)
- Get-out and deal damage in merry state (tri-element)
The problem is that i'm not sure on what natural stats to invest in and what gear/spells to take. Here's what i had in mind :
Stats:
- Intelligence : 10 Resistance then full HP%
- Strength : Full elemental or Aoe/Elemental (aoe doesn't imrove shields...Is full elemental that bad?)
- Agility : Full Lock and Dodge (Do i need initiative?)
- Luck : 20 Block, 20Crit, 20Crit Mastery
- Majors : Ap, Mp, Resistance.
Spells:
Might replace triple or milk fountain with "Milking it" but i like them too so i don't know...

Gear:
I guess i need tri-element, aoe and block. I guess a milimoowolf pet is a start, but outside of that i have no idea on what to do...With the multiple pages system i can do multiple builds but i won't be able to have an equipment set for all of them because i'm a bit poor.
Preferably, i'd prefer gear that is under or around lvl 150.
I don't know if what i'm aiming for is viable so i need your advice!

Hi, I think what you aim for is definitely possible on level 200, but not fully at around level 150, because only at moon and high level zinit you can find trielemental gear with ok to good resistance and enough mastery. So your choices for level 150 are limited and you can decide to go two elemental for a lot better overall stats (especially resistance and block) and a bigger chance to don't lose too much mastery for AoE mastery (which is good for your damage, but not for your six roses armor). So I mainly would suggest you going earth/fire (better suited for off-tank in my opinion) or earth/water (still with dairy springer).
If you still want to go trielemental, you will have (a lot) lower mastery and you will have to take more area mastery, which will hurt your armoring, but still is an option.
For the statpoints, you normally don't need initiative, so full lock and dodge is great. Going full elemental instead of elemental with area only give you 60 less mastery, but 100 more for your armor, so I think you can take pure elemental too. By the way, crit mastery don't influence armors and you can only 20 points in block, 20 in crit and 10 in critical mastery, because it is 50 points in total.
Thanks for your help! Yeah i guess being tri element is hard in low levels so i'll have to choose between fire and water for my second element.

About gears, I know about great stuff like the Lucloak and whatnot but it's way too far for me
What gear do you recommend for levels around 100-155?
I'm a fan of Milk Wave because of it damage and healing affect. As Milk fountain, i dont really like it because within 2 clicks your 12 ap is reduced to 2ap with an output of only 1,800 damge compared to other classes. It useful but Milk fountain isn't a spell for every build. Splash of Milk might be better but that depends on how often you use milk fountain on a barrel or not... up to you
