New Pandawa, Need Help!
By DivineNation - MEMBER - July 27, 2016, 23:07:54So I'm new to Wakfu but not Dofus. Wakfu combat when it comes to spells and mechanics seems different than Dofus and I need tons of help. I'm looking at builds and I'm completely confused. People are saying to put points into things like %HP and Barrier and stuff but I'm not familiar with how exactly you do this. The only ones I know how to put points into is Barrier and %HP. Thats literally it. People say to put like 10 in resistance or something but there's like 5 different things with resistance in the name. Plus, there's 5 different places I have points in but I can't use them all at once. Im just extremely confused. On top of this, I have no idea how to build a Pandawa. I know they're tank/supports but I don't know what spells to use in what order, what spells I should be using, and how to put points in the right area.
I need MAJOR help!

I'll try my best to explain how statting works.
there are 5 catergories that cycle in getting a point for each level. So for example at lv. 2 you get a point in intelligence, lv. 3 you get a point in strength lv. 4 you get agility and lv. 5 you get chance and then it cycles back to intelligence. The fifth one, major, is a special case and only gets a point at lv. 25, 75, 125 and 175.
Intelligence tends to deal with general survivability
Strength has a lot of ways to reliably increase your damage.
Agility deals with locking and dodging, and also AP/MP removal.
Chance let's you either deal more or take less damage in certain situations.
Major has a lot of rarer stats that you don't find on a lot of early equipment.
Usually when people post guides about statting they've catergorized which category they're talking about. The resistance they should be talking about is in Intelligence, i think it's just called elemental resistances.
Just a head up: NEVER put points into HP in the strength tab, Even if you ARE a tank the intelligence tab gives you plenty of options for surviving longer.
As for spells, they're not exclusively support/tanks. They're very versatile and are also highly mobile, and can move enemies and allies with ease. But if you wanna be a Support/Tank Pandawa i suggest sticking to the earth and water branch for the most part.
I would suggest Bash Barrel, Six Roses, Lactic Acid and Blisskrieg from the earth branch
For the water branch I would suggest Splash of Milk, Milk Wave and Milk Fountain. Then i'd choose between Milky Breath and Flaming Burp. Milky Breath will deal more damage due to your water branch focus, but Flaming Burp's ability to lower resist makes it a great spell, even if you're not focused on fire.
And the order of the spells... Honestly that's better if you try for yourself. Try using spells in different orders, see what works well and what doesn't. Really, what you need to focus the most on is to try and use all your AP at the end of your turn.
Sorry for my wall of text, but i hope it helped. In any case if you're still confused i'll be willing to try explain stuff again.
This really helped as I did learn the different categories and points within them. Thank you SO much I really appreciate it. I also almost put points into HP in strength thanks for the heads up.
