Pandawa Ideas
By Pandinade - MEMBER - July 11, 2016, 03:10:35I know Pandawa isn't desperately in need of a rework or changes at all especially compared to classes like Sadida and Enutrof who are hurtin right now, but I want to show some of my ideas.
I think we should have 2 states for barrel:
Normal and Inverted
To change their states, you cast "Bamboozle" on a barrel. There should be some kind of an indicator like the barrel should change colors or something
Take out the effect that bamboozle has on barrel that makes it push nearby targets away, it's not.. very useful.
When you do this, the cost of the spell is completely returned (2 AP and 1 WP), but since the spell can only be cast 1 time per turn they need to use it carefully.
Then I would use the following changes:
when I say new I mean I would leave the rest of the spell as it is with this as an addition.
Bamboozle: removed: no longer pushes nearby targets away
.................new: if cast on a normal barrel, it becomes "inverted" --> refunds cost
.................new: if cast on an inverted barrel, it becomes "normal" --> refunds cost
Flame Burp: new: if an "inverted" barrel is in the AoE, any DIZZY (enemy) target hit loses 1 AP (100%)
Light My Fire: new: "inverted" any (ally) targets in the AoE: consumes all dizzy stacks to give general mastery (3 to 8 based on spell level) per stack, does no damage to enemies
Milking It: new: if one "inverted" barrel, AND one "normal" barrel are both in the AoE, the spell does 30% more damage.
Bubble Trouble: removed: no longer gives dodge to allies
.......................new: on "inverted" barrel, the spell now gives targets affected +3 dizzy stacks
.......................new: on "normal" barrel, now gives +3 general resistance per dizzy stack on the targets affected (doesn't consume)
Splash of Milk: new: on "inverted" barrel, sets a "WATER" type damaging glyph instead, that hurts any target that starts their turn on it
Damage scale: at level 200, does 70 water damage to the target
......................new: can now place more than 1 glyph on 2 different barrels
Milk Wave: new: on "inverted" barrel, the spell does 20% more damage. The pandawa lands on the barrel (like barrelhop) and the targeted barrel is destroyed
Milk Fountain: new: on "inverted" barrel, enemies in the AoE are pushed back 3 cells instead of pulled
Triple Whammy: new: when cast on a barrel, it is pushed 6 cells in the opposite direction, causing earth (collision) damage to any target the barrel slides into. The barrel itself loses 5% of it's max HP per cell collided
Damage scale: at level 200, does 12 earth damage per cell collided (max 72)
Bash Barrel: new: if an "inverted" barrel is in the AoE, it takes damage from this spell (it does not, currently)
.................new: if an "inverted" barrel is in the AoE, the spell does 10% more damage
Barrelhop: new: when cast directly on an "inverted" barrel, --> destroys the targeted barrel, and teleports the pandawa to the targeted cell.
..............new: cannot use the spell to teleport next to an "inverted" barrel
Barrel: new: an "inverted" barrel can not be picked up, but isn't considered "stable"
Instead of saying inverted, maybe like poisoned (or rotten / spoiled, like the contents gone bad) if only have negative damaging or de-buffing effects.
I kind of like these idea. Making class more complicated, but adding more effects too.
I hope can keep self armor effect on Bamboozle, if these ideas used.
I like these ideas. I just question how much extra utility it gives pandawas. I already feel that pandawa has alot of utility compared to other classes.
I thought maybe I should also come up with some passive changes cuz some are a bit underwhelming..
Cocktail: new: When the panda is Sober, +20% heals performed
Bambottle: new: when the panda is Worn Out, +30% MP reduction
................new: when the panda is Merry, +30% AP reduction
Refreshment: removed: no longer gives final damage at the start of the pandawa's turn
....................new: gives +10% final damage and +1 dizzy stack to an ally, or 20% final damage to the pandawa (can't recieve dizzy stacks) if they start their turn near a barrel
also,
Six Roses: should not hurt allies
I had another new idea for Bambottle:
Bambottle: Ether costs 1 WP now, but also
................If the pandawa uses Ether,
if they are Merry --> +5% critical hits per MP remaining at the end of the turn (1 turn)
If they are Worn out --> +5 blocks per MP remaining at the end of the turn (1 turn)
