Two Insane Sac-Elio Interactions (WARNING, HIGHLY BUG TRIGGERING)
By hemyani - MEMBER - July 24, 2018, 13:08:50These are new interactions that I found recently, one of them could possibly be a mechanic bug, but the other usually only triggers a visual bug.
I'll call the first interaction the Pushmenot Proc...
For this one, have an Elio use Inverse Siphoning on a target, then have the sac use Motion Sickness on that same target while in CC with that target. What will happen is that a proc of MS will occur even when the target was not actually pushed. Cool if you wanna proc MS while not moving.
For the second interaction, one which I will call the Triple Proc, have an Elio cast Inverse Siphoning on a target, but now the sac will need the passive Mobility, and the spell Spiritual Tempest. Leave one cell between the Sac and the target (linearly). Have the Sac use MS on self, then use Spiritual Tempest on that cell. What happens is that the push from Spiritual Tempest will trigger the first MS Proc. And since the Sac will also push itself, then that will trigger the 2nd proc. Finally since the Sac is the one who triggered the effect of Inverse Siphoning, then that's a 3rd proc. Finally, if you happen to have a Feca there as well, and have it apply Magma armor on the sac, then that will trigger a 4th proc. This interaction almost always triggers a visual bug for me, I hope it's fixed soon :c
But yeah... Good stuff, especially in certain dungeons

I don't know about any visual bugs being caused by this, but i imagine with the way you are doing this it causes similar issues like with Panda
(example: Casting tempest on a panda with a barrel in the AoE cases visual placement bugs)
But as far as mechanics go, this is a perfectly normal way to trigger multiple proc's of Motion sickness.
The exact same thing happens when fighting the militiamen in Battlegrounds, specifically after they activate their own Siphoning ability
Due to Siphoning being a movement that can also trigger collision, the movement, whether there is actual movement of tiles or not, will always trigger motion sickness an additional time.
If you are using Mobility Tempest (the push) and Insanity (the pull) you can multiply this ability with the amount of people caught in the AoE aswell due to the spread of Motion sickness
Try this for example: Set up a Mobility tempest + Insanity AoE by positioning 4 enemies in close combat around you, set up motion sickness on the previous turn
Then cast tempest to push, insanity to pull, and then push once more, and see just how many times Motion sickness is proc'd, it should be around almost 16 times, 4 times per target
