Returning Sac, Previously Wondark
By Wondurk - MEMBER - February 04, 2018, 15:13:22Hey guys I used to main as Sac years ago and I'm returning for a short while to get rid of this Wakfu "itch". I used to have a Sac spreadsheet I made and kept updated for a short while but came with mixed responses. I probably won't be doing any of that but hate to see very little love for low level theory crafting. Everything seems to be aimed to max or at least high level builds and those aren't entirely relevant to me at a low level. 12 ap combos are not even in sight, my Sac is still missing about 4 or so slots for abilities, I feel squishy, and I hit like a wet noodle.
I see others builds for high resist because of late game bosses/dungeons but I wonder if that's relevant at my level (30ish atm). Will I gimp myself if I stat incorrectly at such a low level? Do I have to spend real money to fix that? What are your suggestions for a build that is a speedy solo Sac at low levels?
I feel the majority of the game for me last time was the grind and because I played mostly solo that was quite slow. Should I spend time in groups or with a guild to speed the process up? Is a Sac desireable in a group or even solo?
I know there are active forum members but I don't expect answers to everything. I have been reading up on a lot of these things and apologize if there is something I could have found easily. The forums do not update often and changes occur to the game more often than third party sites' data does putting a lot of information out of date.
TLDR: Hi guys, did you miss me?

After playing for a bit longer, I will take the liberty to answer some of my own questions. You know in case someone else was interested.
1. Stat for Resist or HP at low level. It really doesn't matter much. It costs real money to restat unless you follow one of the quests to restat which while they aren't plentiful, do happen enough. But you won't hurt yourself by putting in either of these stats at any level.
2. Speedy builds/quick solo dungeons are a thing at lower levels especially if you are tanky. At higher level dungeons they become much more difficult to solo so it is suggested to team up. The "K" button brings up a Hero menu and you can make your own group. If you pay extra you can get Heroes that are other classes (you have to make them) but you still have access for free to a weekly "hero" and astrub knight if you do the early quests in Astrub. These heroes make soloing a bit easier but as a Sac I still recommend a tankier build that includes many earth abilities. I hope you like Rocky Foot.
3. Heroes again, but if you can find friends this is much nicer. Partying with people will make the game more fun because then other people are suffering with you. Sacs are desirable in groups and solo, as can be said for most of the classes.
4. No, no one missed you. Everyone who played the game when you did is gone and/or didn't even care much for you then.
On a different note, with MethodWakfu possibly being down forever, I wonder what will happen now for the theorycrafters and min/maxers?
