How do u guys use Hydrand?

By MrAsura - MEMBER - October 14, 2013, 18:06:49

Sinistro seems very easy to use but hydrand seem like a pain in the ass to use becasue we cannot use it to surround a mob (it only attacks a linear target)

so if u are a water and fire xelor when do u start using summon?

what 5 spells do u prefer as a water fire xelor?

and how do u use a hydrand effectively?

how do u max temporal prism effectively in battle?

I still think hydrand isn't worth using. I thought they were going to buff it but doesn't seem so.

It's only good for blocking i think because it's stabalized. Can be ok in PVP in some situations if you need to block a path against someone like a sacrier that can just switch.

i have heard mango is pretty much hydrands dude nowadays, says that its still p ok.

me myself used to be hydrand-build fire xelor for over a year until the hydrands nerf, wouldnt go there with current hydrands, honestly.
so yeah, the difference between those two is that mobs go for sinistros and count hydrands as nothing more than an obstacle.

I don't feel hydrands are able to deal enough damage to be worth using over one hand. Personally I only put them down if temporal burn left enemies low enough to be snatched by it, otherwise use sinistros as cannon fodder (they deal 6 dmg per attack).

ive never considered hydrands useful at all... the only reason id ever use them if i need some sort of aoe in that form ... mostly for trackers if anything and even then i can use better methods. I just dont like hydrands personally being stablized is its biggest strength imo but sinistros outclass them in every aspect. If your going the summon route with xelor go sinistro since they can at least tank and remove ap. To sum up i only use a hydrand if i cant do anything else... which is not very often.. i honestly dont see how people could make hydrands viable when there is better options out there.
