Trap Sram Gear build

LD/general and 3 element, but focus on LD a lot. In PVP you will need good damage from your Hemorrhage and Fog Traps. Obviously neglect damage stats in chance tab and get block/crit resist/back resist though.

The item build I posted here earlier works well, but you can change one of the rings (Nomad or Fortified) for GKC (If MP) OR the Cape for Lucloak (If you want AP) and change Bygone to a Planty Stem , so trading Block and 30 Res (something only a shield+bygone can give you at this point) to a Control and AP/MP, without even losing much damage.

I'll likely be using GKC build myself since I prefer more damage over a little bit of extra block at the cost of said great damage. However if you got a 20/20 Nomad Max (I've got only Fortified Fist like that), then by all means go for the Lucloak.

Oh you said budget. I'm using this ATM, it's very cheap (in my server) and quite effective.

As I said, thinking to change weapons to Planty Stem and Gauntnutts to GKC. Ofc you want a ranged Boowolf though. SB helm is better than it appears to be, just cause it gives you 50 Lock, which is valuable... But use a Ski Mask if you have it and runed.

Mostly good, need to do kannilooni and vore and then I'll have a planty stem, then I just need my sb ammy/will probs pick up an sb ring and hopefully get a soulbrother. Then need to half beg my guildy for her scaly shoes haha.

I have init runed. You should go do the moon island merc quests for the Planty Stem weapon I told you about.

I don't use motivation often right now, as I need Crazy Scheme due to being 12/5 (13/5 i'd go for it because 14 AP is overwhelming). I'd use it when I need to reduce more AP than normally, or just want more AP as it means more traps, faster hemorrhage,ambush stacks, etc...

I'd only use it to achieve AP/MP amounts that you can't get with simple gear, like 13/6 or 14/5.

what 14 AP combos would you do? and yeah I'm working on it, I had done the dungeons but hadnt accepted the quests. now just gotta do kannilooni. Got scaly boots because I was too lazy to make pointy leggings. also have sb ammy and sb ring

14AP is great. 3 turn rotation:

  1. Silence/Laceration trap x2 and Fog Trap x2 on it's edge(on same spot, kind of like a Lethal Trap from Dofus), Double. Double pushes into the trap - 60 Ambush.
  2. Fog trap, Silence trap x4(or x3 and trigger a Laceration trap on enemy if you used laceration traps previous turn). Go invisible. Double locks down the target.
  3. 3 more Silence/Laceration traps on the trap stack you made last turn, Fog trap to connect it all, Fear/Mass Charm target into the Fog trap. Profit. 1AP left but it's OK, worth it regardless.
Note: you need at least 9 control to actually do this kind of combo. Also it is doable with 12/13AP, but you do not get to summon the double at all(with 13AP its possible, if you do 3 laceration 1st turn, and 1 more laceration next), so reducing it's effectiveness.

Laceration seems great in PVP, but do you like it in dungeons? Bosses are hard to trap anyway, but are they also immune to Hemorrhage? I forgot to check because I just like water and air spells so much.

Seems nice, with full runes and GKC build you can easily break 2500 mastery.

what cape for gkc build? would capellooni suffice or is it nutt or bust

regardless, this is what I have with only runed item being an 987 runed lucloak.



list of things to do:

switch SB ring for a tree ring or something.

rune some stuff

level up [only 183]

if you look at my highest elemental mastery,

1128 + 715 + 160 = 2003, +200 distance runes + 10 tree ring + maybe 30 if I get gauntnutts + maybe 50 when I finish levelling spells/get STR to max, I'd have about 2300 in Lucloak, and 602 as my highest resist score non invisible.

I'd say it's looking pretty good. Looking forward to seeing this guy at level 200 with max runes and morfos. Though I might not completely rune and morfo, why gear for content that doesn't exist biggrin

I think priority for cape would be

Nomad Cape
Kannivore Cape
Nutt Cape
Capellooni

(Dist damage > AOE damage > Single target damage. And crit is basically irrelevant.)

Nomad Cape is a pain to get though so Kannivore Cape probably a better opstion, assuming you haven't already spent all your kannivore capes on cape rice ofc.

Does you guys still rock this build? Would the build be viable before like 175 though, like lets say lvl 100 what would you rock for gear and stats?

Yeah you can do this at 100 if you want.

But i wouldnt recommend going full ranged in lower levels - youd be fine with focus on general mastery so you can effectively use your close combat moves as well as traps (thats how i used to do it with my low level pvp sram lul).

Just get normal gears (not much dofference at that point, mix milkar, white crow and magmog stuff) that give as much mastery as possible, but you also want many action points.

Best relic and epic for the level: welder mask with gelano. Upgrade to powerful dazzling belt and bagus shushu. If its your 1st character dont bother with relics like that too much, just go straight for harry boots if you plan to level to endgame.

Important stuff: try to get as much control from gear and pet as you can. Crit% and crit mastery are not important for you.
