Range on Iops?

By BizJuju April 02, 2012, 10:19:35

Recently I just got my hands on them Munster Shovel. I noticed It took a range off my stat (now with -1 range)

Does range have any affect on my Iop's skills? I cant tell if anything changed

Think it might affect the throwing rock skill, other than that no.

Unless a spell shows that its range can be increased then +/- range has no effect. Iop spells are uneffceted by range.

Does it perhaps affect flatten and jump? as that would make sense in my eyes.

None of the Iop's spells are range-modifiable. +-Range effects no nothing at all.

It would be cool if it affected Jabs.

I think that would suck actually. Then Cras could just Bat's Eye practically all of our range away including Rock and Impact. I'd rather just leave it how it is for PvP.

Munster Shovel good for Fire Iops due to that class not requiring range.

To determine rather a skill is modifiable via the Range stat, look at the tooltip for the skill. There are 3 different range indicators:

Crossed out red eye = No LoS required
Blue Eye = Standard range indicator
Yellow Eye = Modifiable via Range stat

Not a single Iop skill has yellow eye
