Osamodas at 140 and below PVP

By Drakenite234 - MEMBER - August 04, 2019, 15:19:17

Recently, I've found the Osamodas to be pretty underwhelming at 140 and below PvP (having started participating in battlefields again), since adjusting levels means you're stuck with whatever summons the game throw to you. And 4 out of 5 of the summons they force on you are practically useless. Not to mention the summons seem weak both in terms of damage/healing compared to other classes like Sram/Sacriers/Ecas, even though I'm fully geared.

Is there anyway an Osamodas can do better in 140 or below PvP than other classes like Sacrier/Srams/Ecas, assuming they're equally geared? Since a certain flashing-blades claim that they can, but for some reason doesn't want to elaborate to me on how, and I've been trying hard to find a way on my own as well, but just can't seem to find a way to outdo those classes.

I'm really hoping that Ankama will rework this class soon, as well as a few others that need reworking as well. But then again, they have to rework a bunch of other crap as well, like the mess of a system called the Enchantment system... so I honestly don't know when they're going to start working for this game and its players.

I really hope they just give you a goball, tofu, puddly, prespic and crackler (the most famous mobs) to summon when they rework them and just scale them with your level.

The whole "catch a mob" is a remnant of the old system where you could catch a mob and it would get exp like a sidekick, but since they modified all the monsters you summon, idk what's the point anymore.

At the level 80 bracket the Rattler is actually super powerful, just use croak on it, then use the 3rd ability that lets you teleport behind them, and use the water ability twice (it has high crit chance) it should deal up to 800 damage. But you're right, the other summons at that bracket are basically garbage, consider switching to dragon form in turn 2/3. Against some classes like Masq or Sacrier, maybe Sram and a good Rogue it's basically an auto-lose, but you can do well against the other classes.
