Hello, I'm "That Guy"
By Takadus - MEMBER - February 14, 2019, 04:10:19You know, that guy that actually likes to play a doll-focused Sadida. Granted my Sadida is fairly low level still (50 or so), but I was hooked when after blocking a single PvE enemy with three Greedies and a wall (Reaper Grambo to be precise).
However ... lately dolls either die too quickly or don't deal enough damage or have wonky AI or, as is often the case, a combination of all three.
I am using a God Booster at the moment so stats gained through leveling can easily be reallocated for now, but I have no idea how to even allocate my stats. Any advice would be appreciated.
For context, I run my Sadida alongside a Sacrier Tank and an Iop DD (also Flurry Combo is great with Greedies after Nettled lvl 10). Both of those are lvl 70+ and yet I am having trouble with the Carnivorous Plant boss on Stasis 20.
i dont like sadida's gameplay. Instead of attacking-healing auto dolls , there could be kind of totem summons around sadida to buff or debuff by forcing their opponents for different fight styles.example:
There is boiler room boss who forces you to attack his rear -front or sides by using status and mamie lesime mob in Villainy Vineyards forces you not to attack single and distance, sadida can be kind of character that force opponents to cast melee , distance ,zone or single spells. of course they wont be immune to be damaged but they can get some resists during spell turns and "maybe they can summon some trees like sureberry's mobs as totem and guard their arounds"
Sadly, sadida dolls lose their power quite early since they're very equipment dependent. You need a lot of resistance for your dolls to survive PVE content, which means that you'll need to sacrifice a lot of masteries to get specific tanking build and gear. And this playstyle doesn't fit PVE at all since you'll slow down your progress by a lot. Summoner sadidas are survivalists which are only viable in duels and certain solo-content. Battlefields only lasts 45 minutes and you'll spend most of that time poking at people with your dolls.
Most sadidas use "doll-less builds" with the Lone Sadida passive being their main focus, and mostly just summon the Ultra Powerful and Explodoll (maybe a Block or Inflatable now and then if you really need help). Late-game sadidas transition into healers, but are not as effective as eniripsas.
I recommend switching to a different class unless you really want to level a sadida. They don't really shine much in most circumstances since other classes can fulfill the role better, and the class will slow down your progress since it doesn't do great damage. The only thing truly unique about the sadida is their Voodoll, which is so lacking that most fights don't need one, and the ability to adapt to most roles as a support/damager since we can shield, gust etc. Sadidas used to be important for removing resistance but now Enutrofs can do it better with their mines (which doesn't stack with Sudden Chill.
An Eniripsa would be a good replacement for your team since an Iop and Sacrier need heals.
It is really sad to say as a Lv.200 Sadi player that you should better to try finding other classes for viable role. Sadi is seriously broken now. All of her skill have very limited usage. Dolls, -res, shield, and heals... yeah it may feel like she have everything. However, can do everything less than half efficiency of other classes means just 'can do nothing'. Ah, actually, her healing ability is very close to Eni which is the best healer in game. However, it still just substitute class because of the worst revive spell. And the problem is getting worse when you close to the end game with high stasis dungeons.
I hope when they revamp sadidas, they will allow you to specialize on one type of doll, because being able to use all 4 gives you enough versatility that they can't give them enough power to be useful,
