I am having the same issue with the UI being way too small and my resolution isn't even as high as 4K.
I've spent 2 days trying to find a solution but nothing has worked for me so far.
You could try setting the game to full-screen and then setting a much lower resolution in order to make everything appear bigger.
For myself (on Windows 10) any mode except Windowed removes my cursor and isn't really an option.
