Planting 800 trees in Thicket ain't that much of work to be honest. There are other places that need some attention - when I checked last time, Kara Plains was looking not so well (too many mobs, with protection). Bonta requires loads of work, some places are more vurnerable to ecoterrorism attacks than others, fixing them then is a task.
Bonta has seen better days. If Dj wants to fix his image, he should better start working
I don't say this in defence of Djhin (who I so far have no opinion of), but as a former governor, I can say that even with a full government team and the help of guilds, keeping the ecosystem in Bonta in good condition is an extremely difficult task.

The New Gov was doing great maybe not a full time like others, but doing his best to replanted trees ang plants.
