Time to overthrow current governor
By Tradej - MEMBER - April 18, 2016, 11:00:31So as many of you probably know, last election in amakna ended with Pako-Qeloko winning. He is well known of his actions towards ruining nation, like rising taxes, protecting species that doesn't need it, relocating money and wasting it on meaningless actions. However until today everything was fine, but well, oh our sweet ignorance, this couldn't last. Governor is back with his harmful actions towards our nation. So let us overthrow him, calling out all of you that voted on Rehu and others, please, give out negative opinion for current government, let's depose him and elect new one that wants the best for Amakna, let's unite under this one goal!

Mikune, quick question. Market taxes can raise/lower because of the Governor?
The government can change laws, protect species, affect who you can trade with, what challenges are available, declare war, and change the weather, among other things (they used to have more powers, but the government has lost a lot of its powers over the years).
This may explain the absurd taxation that hit the market yesterday...
I'm thinking of starting a campaign to become the next Governor. But I'll need as much as possible support. This shitte must stop. Amakna was always the "safe heaven" when it comes to idiots with power (Brakmar for example).

The "King" rise the tax of the outpost to 70% go to an other area to put stuff on the market.
He also agreed that he is just a sec.char who has nothing to do as staying around and talking bullshit after he was talking that everybody has to join there guild if you dont want to be punished by the flying spagetti monster.

It's because most candidates have such a huge ego that they have to be the one to win and by dividing the votes, the bad guy wins.

So lets unite around one candidate. Miku is right, Rehu was way too many times, despite the good work. I would support Miku. Eventually in time I would go for the title as well, hopefully people will support me then and the rotation will continue. At the end the goal is to prevent some bored to death trolls to screw the nation/bonuses/ecosystem.
I noticed that I wasn't allowed to fight certain monsters, even when the ecosystem is overflowing with them when I visited a nation that was under Amakna.
Can the governor also influence the storage tax when you sell from your Haven Bag? Or, does it depend on where you place your bag?
I was there when he was talking all these nonsense things about raising taxes and punishing people. Thought he was just bluffing. And since voting is only for paid members. The rules should be also for the paid members, Why punishing the poor souls who just wanna play the game peacefully.
Give voting rights to every one to make this thing fair.
Else people with powerful friends can make them win just like a corrupt government system in real life situation.
As in this case, he needs to be stopped once and for all. Where are the moderators? Ban that one and also impart close monitoring on elected people and their actions (NSA Stuff) and make sure the game is going on the right way it is meant to be.
The system has a flaw and that flaw is the votes are character based, not account based. He won with ~60 votes, thats roughly 12-15 people voting with all their characters for one man. Do you think this is a problem for a guild with 100+ members?

These people will win the next election and more to come. If anything, ankama should do something about preventing them from becoming governors again as mass community hated these people. Lvl 38? As sufo gov? Piego I'll Tempo wasn't online often but this doesn't mean we get a lvl 38.
Ankama should watch over their games more, especially in these situations. I feel like we get abandoned when we need them the most.
