Hotfix 1.67.9

Feca's Skills descriptions came back bugged from the hotfix. i am talking from the Efrim Server here, as nobody answers nothing in the portuguese forum.

Mine and probably a lot of other accounts got falsely banned for doing nothing, got accused of "Buying or selling Ankama products for real money or other products" which I can personally confirm I did not do and can provide the screenshots if necessary.

I confirm, not for myself, but in discord many and many denounced bans for 3 or even 30 days for doing nothing, me i'm ok but wtf is happening? Is Ankama trying suicide after taking back players thanks to 1.67 and lockdown?
That's not a serious behaviour we'd expect from a company, for which also many gave money for the Kickstarter campaign...

I guess, there will be some more comments about the topic of bans, so I just wanted to tell, what I assume what is happening right now. (this are assumptions I made from hopefully logical steps to explain the current situation, I can't proof that this is right and I most likely won't get approval, so this is just a theory)

Kama creating bugs are a serious issue for for a player driven economy in a game and can have negative effects over many years, there are still wakfu servers struggeling with issues related to it, that are several years old. So reacting fast on this issue is one of the biggest priorities. An announced hotfix is a logical choice to make this progress stop for a moment to start investigating on who might have abused this bug and where is the wrongly created money going to. Even if the time frame of this hotfix was pretty long, it was still probably way too small to investigate properly on every person. A proper investigation is important to not ban players permanently that don't deserve it (a permanent ban for such a problematic bug is common). So to get more investigation time, they most likely banned players that either "are more likely to have used the bug" or "traded big amounts of kamas with one of the people that have most likely used the bug". This way they can stop people from spreading duplicated kamas even more far for now and get enough time, to check possible abusers properly.  Possibly, they could even compensate people, that got a 3day/30day ban and have not profited from the bug after the investigations are done, but this will be most likely a management decission.
If my assumptions up until now are true, I hope people that have nothing to do with this get their ban removed as fast as possible.
 

Are you able to post a banned player list like they do for other games? That would be very interesting to see.

the real question is..how old this bug is?

Support gave a copy paste reply for the reason of my ban. That is annoying because i still have no idea what i did wrong, nor do other players who received the same reply, and because the next sanction might be a permanent ban or at least longer. 

omg anakma fix your game ban all player for bug that no one know abt wtf
