My main worry is how this is going to tie up with the existing lore. I thought that players, upon selecting their class when creating their character, were incarnated souls that had begun to follow a given god or goddess / activated a metallic husk as it's the case with the Foggernauts. Are these Incarnates non-aligned characters of some sort?
Rimali|2013-09-20 17:51:41The connection to a certain gathering job and element resulting in a (slight) bonus?
The elemental bonus isn't even spoken of in the picture when choosing a nation. Are you even going to tell new players that there is a difference in bonus' between each nation or just let them chose one and make them save the kama to transfer?
I like-like it

This is the process of going through incarnum to be incarnated into your class/character.

It makes even more sense than what we had before believe it or not.
Approved by no one important (a.k.a me).

This change is really nice and can help newbies (I had hard time 9 months ago and had to watch videos and guess what to do [and ask around]) Also wouldnt be bad, if you could change classes without limit as Incarnate until level 10 or 15 (and only in incarnam) to find out, which is best for you smile
Can we get high resolution pictures of the Incarnates?

I need it for... research.
Love it! Looks like Ankama is paying attention to us on Incarnam and Astrub, at least. Well done!
Looking at the Incarnates, I guess we know what happened to the human Male and Female Foggers from Dofus days.

They went polytheistic, and those that choose to remain Foggers inhabit an android form.

Neneko88|2013-09-20 19:09:58All resources you can find in the nations? can use boats, can trade?
The normal versions of the astrub ressources, i expect.
The long bridges will be replaced by boats.
Trade maybe just between nonsubscribed characters.
until they say otherwiseI expect bots to mine iron forever there and trading thingshappy
but if sabi or troyle could give us information..
Mining iron won't give them too much kamas... I think that most people who use bots will still stick to the p2p areas.
Now everyone is gonna go to Bonta once they see it's the most populated.

The amount of people in the market doesn't reflect who chose that nation.

Bontas bonuses are terrible like literally always down i'd much rather be in sufokia for bonuses
This looks great! The revamp looks like it'll make it a lot smoother for characters to ease into the gameplay of Wakfu (and the characters are super cute). Aside from primary gameplay like battling, dealing with the ecosystem, and politics, I do think a Haven Bag Tutorial might be good for newcomers as well: introduce players to their storage and merchant units, alongside giving them an idea of what the Haven-Gems do (and why Haven Bags can be really enjoyable if you enjoy customization). Teaching players about these details helps in promoting why they're a good incentive as a subscription gift.

Also, I think Rimali and Navaero brought up some really good points Ankama should consider with this revamp. :B

Now that you bring this up, how are they going to explain the fogger change? Or handle it if you switch from a female incarnate?

My other question is are you still going to be able to skip incarnum? Guess it depends on the fun factor, but you still probably won't want to do it for every character you create.

Finally, my guess would be there won't be any kama drops or minters in Astrub. But they'll have to be at least some way to keep the Astrub ecosystem/economy separate from the nations. Limiting trade to between f2p's only would be another option. (High level expired subs would throw things out of whack otherwise I'd think..)
Regarding the fogger change, i guess instead of being able to be a HUMAN FOGGER, we watch in horror and awe as our incarnates rip off their flesh and reveal metal bones and bodies below. Something terminator esque without the whole skin part, Sadly. (Still, i would love to be a human fogger. Plz thx.)
YESSSSSSSSSSSS this is a revamp I've been waiting for a while! I love the "Initiate" concept, it's pretty awesome!

The Incarnate's soul would just be placed into a stasis machine.
This game has long suffered from not being more accessible, so this overhaul is long overdue! GJ
imma put this out there becauser the female incarnate is suepr ute. make them playable past astrub as well. give them their own tree. tongue the eternal incarnate.
God can i just play one forever omg
Like the others said, I agree incarnate souls should be their own class, they look that great.
