Flovor 2nd has given us the idea of holding a cooking contest to make Ruevas drool. The only question is will you dare enter and win the prizes up for grabs?

Stove Yumday doesn't come along every day!

What day? That's right! Stove Yumday! This ancient rural tradition involves making pile after pile of crepes for the village gobball.

If the gobball eats them all, then spring will be mild. But if the animal refuses to eat them all, you can expect the worst…

When that happens, excuses aren't far behind: "maybe the animal ate earlier", "your crepes are the problem", and yada yada yada… The truth is that it's a bad omen and spring might never come!!!

This event was inspired by the Meridia of this great day: Ruevas!

For your average Twelvian, the important part is to gorge themselves. For her, what matters is the taste.

With Ruevas, say no to bland foods and easily broken forks!


But… What About the Contest?

From Thursday, February 2 until 5:00 p.m. (Paris time) on February 13, a cooking contest will be held to celebrate this great feast day and its Meridia!

  • Cook a dish inspired by a dish in WAKFU (the game or the series) that we can group under the theme of "Recipes from the World of Twelve in the Wakfu Era".
  • Write up the recipe (a short RP description is also welcome).
  • Take a picture of your creation. (Important: Your picture should be appetizing, even Instagram-worthy!)
  • Post it all in this forum topic.

I learned this recipe from the innkeeper at the Crusty Gobball Inn (he's one of my mother's friends).


  • 3 gobbalrog steaks (1 kg of veal)
  • 30 mushes (400 g of button mushrooms)
  • 5 peppers (2 pinches of ground pepper)
  • 5 rice (2 cups of rice)
  • 20 cawwots (4 carrots)
  • 1 cup of dry white wine
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tbsp. flour
  • lemon juice
  • 2 onions
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 poultry bouillon cube
  • butter, olive oil, salt


  1. Cut the meat into pieces and brown it in a bit of olive oil and butter in the bottom of a Dutch oven. Enjoy the sweet melody of singing meat…
  2. Once nicely browned, sprinkle the flour over the meat and stir well.
  3. Keep the fire going! Chop the onions and garlic. Add them to the meat and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Now it's time for the carrots (sliced into rounds), the bouillon cube and the mushrooms to join the party.
  5. After five minutes, deglaze with a cup of wine.
  6. Take things down a notch. Add water until everything is covered, turn down the heat, and simmer for one hour.
  7. Combine the sour cream, egg yolk and lemon juice, then add the mixture to the rest. Stir with a wooden spoon and let it reduce down by boiling for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
  8. Add the finishing touch by seasoning it with salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy your gobball stew with a side of rice!

Entries will be judged by our jury of team members on the following criteria:

  • Adherence to the theme of "Recipes from the World of Twelve in the Wakfu Era".
  • Jury's Drool Rating: the recipe must be appetizing and make our jury want to dig in.
  • Overall presentation (photo, inspiration, recipe, etc.).
  • Originality.

Have fun, get your kitchen humming and maybe you'll win one of the sets of prizes up for grabs.

i was checking chef and baker recipes yesterday and i noticed that 2 professions looked underrated to me. my idea is making recipes more useful by increasing their duration more. like i use regeneration potion is good example.
using some recipes on pets and mounts for long time period will be good.

Does this mean there's only one 1st place prize total (combining the communities) or 4 1st place prizes total

  • 500-1000 Grams of fresh live mussels or clams
  • 8 cloves of garlic
  • 2 shallots
  • 1 cup of fresh cherry tomatoes
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • half stick of fresh moogr butter
  • 2 tea spoons of cayenne pepper
  • 1 table spoon of paprika
  • 1kg linguini pasta
  • 2 cups of white cooking wine
  • parsley
  • some parmesan cheese and lemon juice

Cooking : 
  • take the live mussels and put them in water and some salt and wait until they spit out sand
  • replace the water and repeat until the water becomes clear then put aside
  • to a hot pan add the butter  then the shallots and garlic everything finely diced then cook until fragrant
  • half the cherry tomatoes and add the to the pan, and cook them until they become soft
  • add the wine and mix, then add the mussels and crank up the heat ( it is important to not add any mussel if its already opened by this point as that means its already dead and not good to be eaten )
  • cook until all of your mussels are opened and then garnish with some parmesan (to taste) and some parsley and juice of half a lemon
  • to another pan prepare the pasta and drain
  • and assemble your pasta and your white wine broth
  • note that u can eat this dish without the pasta, when we cooked it yesterday we just had it with some toasted baguettes, and remember if u want it to be more sinister just make sure to add more cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes

Ingredients Salmon half with sauce: 
  • Salmon- .55pounds
  • Salt- to taste
  • Pepper- to taste
  • Butter- 2 table spoons
  • Olive Oil- 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh Garlic, Minced- 2 cloves
  • Shallots, Minced- 1 half
  • All Purpose Flour- 3 tablespoons
  • Heavy Cream- 1/4 cup
  • Lemon Juice- 1 teaspoon
  • Rosemary - 1 Sprig
  • Sage- 4 leaves minced
  • Carrots - 2 cut in 1/4inch slices.
  • Cilantro- 2 Two sprigs, garnish

Ingredients for Rice Risotto:
  • White Rice - 1 cup
  • Chicken stock - 3 cups
  • Salt - to taste
  • Butter- 2 tablespoons
  • Shallots - 1 other half of shallot
  • Carrots - 2 cut in 1/4 inch slices

Ingredients for Green Beans:
  • Green Beans - 1 can
  • Salt- to taste
  • Pepper - To taste.

How to cook it all:
  • Preheat over at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  •  Season Salmon Fillets with salt and pepper to taste on both sides.
  • In a frying pan lightly coat in Olive oil on med heat and sear Salmon on both side for 3 minutes each.
  • When done searing, place Salmon on sperate sheet pan and place Salmon in oven and cook until salmon is fully cooked, or at 145 degrees Fahrenheit. Leave in oven to keep warm and turn off oven when done. this will keep salmon hot until everything else is done so long as you don't keep opening the oven.
  • In the same frying pan you used to sear the salmon add the butter to the pan and let it melt.
  • Add in the aromatics; Shallots and Garlic until caramelized
  • Add in flour and let cook until it is lightly brown, approximately 2 minutes.
  • Deglaze the pan with broth, Heavy cream and lemon juice until sauce is smooth.
  • Add in Carrots, Rosemary, and Sage. let cook for 5-7 minutes or until carrots are tender.

Cooking the Rice:
  • wash the rice before cooking.
  • In new pan cook rice 1 cup rice to 3 cups broth.
  • Add rice and 1 cup in pan and let rice soak up the broth as it cooks on med heat.
  • Once broth in rice is fully absorbed, add in another cup and the carrots and continue to cook.
  • Repeat the last step minus the carrots and continue to cook until rice is creamy and has some movement.

Cooking Green Beans:
  • Put green beans into pan on med heat, or how ever the can says to cook it.
  • add salt and pepper to taste.
  • cook until green beans are hot or about 5-10 minutes.

Once everything is done plate it like the photo and add the cilantro on top as the garnish and serve.

Ingame Inspiration: 

3rd Place: Spirnet-#2768 

  • 1 fried tofu breast.
  • Approximately 4-6 Amakna tomatoes.
  • 1tofu egg.
  • 2 Chillberg Lettuce leaves.
  • 2 cups of Pandalucia rice.
  • 2 small Gobbal Sausage's.
  • A sprinkle of sweetcorn.
  • A teaspoon of Soy Sauce.
  • A teaspoon of Olive Oil.
  • Yellow Food coloring.
  • Cupcake wrapper.
  • Marinade used: Black Pepper, Smoked Paprika, Cloves, Thyme, Garlic, Salt, Half a lemon, Mayonnaise and Yogurt.

  • Prepare your marinade, a teaspoon of Smoked Paprika, Cloves, Thyme and Garlic, then a pinch of Salt and Black Pepper, and a spoon of Mayonnaise and Plain Yogurt mixed within a bag with your raw Tofu, finished with a squeeze of half a lemon, Then wait overnight.
  • Take out your marinaded Tofu, Place it in a oiled frying pan using your Olive oil, add a small amount of water, and let it fry.
  • While the Tofu fries, add your Pandalucia rice to a pot with water, and bring it to boil, time for about 30 minutes and add some yellow food coloring.
  • Add your tofu egg to a separate pot, and boil for approximately 6mins.
  • Ball your rice into a lovely Tofu shape, Give him some feet and a beak, but save 2 grains of rice.
  • Take your Tofu egg and slice the tips off, placing them onto your tofu to act as his eyes, then, take the 2 grains of rice we saved, and dye them with soy sauce, placing them onto the eggs to act as pupils.
  • Place your chicken into a cupcake wrapper and dress with a condiment of your choice (I chose mayonnaise).
  • Decorate the rest of your Bento with tomatoes, Gobbal sausage, sweetcorn and lettuce (I added some tomatoes to give the tofu rosy cheeks).
  • 9)Enjoy!
