Divine Dimensions

News
The world may speak of it but do we really know what they are about? In the old days it was said that the Divine Dimensions were private spaces for the World of Twelve Gods. But now, what are they? Adventurers have been left on their own for way too long. So who could still believe in gods?

Ahaha! Fools! Do you really believe that the gods are not watching you? Ahahaha! You would be so wrong to underestimate them! They know who you are and what you do... Well maybe! But iIn any case, you will have all year to discover a little more about them as the Divine Dimensions are in the spotlight in WAKFU!

Your adventure will begin soon in the Divine Dimensions but first you will need help from a mysterious engineer... It seems that she especially needs you starting Tuesday 29th of April!

I always wanted a game against God Ecaflip himself. As a suggestion, I would make in game entities in the game that carry the names of the Gods/goddesses so we could PM our "prayers" to them. They wouldn't respond, of course, but it would be nice flavor.

Well at least there will be something to do with reference to the Divine Dimensions before the May update, even if it will be a short starting quest about the background and lore of the portals.

Masq rogues and foggers shouldn't get an dimension on their own but get mixed in sadida, sram and osamodas dimensions. They don't haven an unique god after all :p

for those who don't know the lore:

The first mask was a sealed child of Sadida, a bit crazy and way to powerful to let roam around

Rogues have deep respect for Sram as he offers the darkness

Foggernauts follow Octopodas, an alter ego of Osamodas

This is literally the stupidest thing I've read in a long while. We'll never get playable Eliatropes, and Foggers will only be playable as murderous robots from the depths, get over it.

Just as a quick statement. In the lore there 12 gods, not 15. Hence the name "The world of twelve"

The Foggernauts follow the loose teachings of the Osa god (Story located here), The Rogues follow the Sram god (As seen here), and Masqs lore state they felt that the gods had limited power, so they looked elsewhere, which is when they found the masks (meaning they're godless)

There are more than 12 gods. There are, as it currently stands, 12 *major* gods, and there are various minor gods/goddesses. Ecaflip is a major god, and Ouginak is a minor god. Sacrier and Pandawa used to be minor goddesses. Oktapotas isn't a minor god, because he is an aspect of Osamodas.
Just because there are 15 "races" in the MMO, don't dismiss the other races and their gods from lore.

So, does anybody else think that the symbol in the middle of the picture looks like the symbol for pi (3.14, for those of you who slept during math)? It seems to be beckoning with its power of never-ending...

Sorry to sadden you, but the developers have stated that there are going to be more new islands this year. The Dimensions, from what I have observed on the Dofus Time video, are very similar to that of the Shushu Dimension, where they have a small zone outside of the dungeon filled with monsters to figure out their tactics and one room dungeons to fight these monsters along with a boss. Though of course the Dimensions use swamps similar to the old Arenas, well at least the Dofus ones. Hence, the Divine Dimensions are only a fraction of the time-consuming task of islands. So if you think the devs will be too busy with dimensions to create new islands, you would be wrong.

I would not be surprised if the Divine Dimensions are the exact same format as the Shushu Dimenion, and thus do not have the enticing swamp mechanic. After all, the Shushu Dimension is also another Dimension just like the Divine Dimensions.

Most of the known minor gods live among their followers (Dragon Pig, Ougaa, probably Yurbut also counts even though he exists just for the purpose of the wordplay), though, they don't seem to have their own "private" dimensions.

I'm not sure if Ouginak is the best example - his nature is unknown, there was a lot of speculation about him being just an aspect of Ecaflip (hence his appearence in the Tarot), sooo for now I wouldn't bring him up as an example of a minor god.
