You have destroyed 1 item{[2?s:} and gained 0 rune

By Nillii December 23, 2012, 10:38:24
When destroying equipment in the Runic Recycler...

Actual message:
"You have destroyed 1 item{[2?s:} and gained 0 rune."

Should be:
"You have destroyed 1 item and gained 0 runes."
"You have destroyed 2 items and gained 1 rune."
"You have destroyed 1 item and gained 2 runes."

0 in this context is treated as a plural, so that one should say "runes" and not just "rune", and the {[2?s:} should be fixed so that it actually works and isn't printed in the text as it is.

Hello,

Thanks for pointing this out. happy The first error has now been fixed. As for the pluralisation of rune, unfortunately the coding itself will have to be changed as it's currently based on French counting (anything less than two = singular... Crazy!). As a compromise until that can be done, I've changed it to "rune(s)". Both changes will be in an interface near you with the next patch!
