Area Zobal

I'm returning to the game after a few years, back then I had a ST+Rear zobal but right now I'm lacking an area character, so I'm thinking into changing the zobal into that. Or maybe full melee+rear to use both ST and zone.

Has anyone tried playing that? Is it worth it?
