From the ever-changing ecosystem to a deep, rich political system, Game Designer "Azael" and Community Manager "Zidrune" of Ankama take fans behind-the-scenes and provide an in-depth look at how and why they put the players in control of the world for their upcoming MMORPG, WAKFU.

What you have done, Ankama, is create a game that fosters the development of environmental and political and possibly even economical awareness. I feel that while your goals may have been entertainment, this game introduces so many wonderful concepts to youth.
To your success!

I am originally french, I had to mute her and read the subs to stay interested before I shot myself in the head out of unbearable boredom.
Putting aside that terrible move... I also still wonder why so many important things are left unaddressed so close to full release. Wakfu is losing credibility and a lot of players already, not to say they won't come back but yeah, it just shows how much SE cares. This is no news in the MMO industry and most of us know how a game quickly fades into dust when the devs are merely involved with their community.
Why? Not good at being a business man? This system doesn't really stop anyone from getting rich, as long as they're smart about it.
Being able to understand how the economy is doing is a great thing for a game.
In other games, inflation and duplication hacks cause major mayhem that could easily be solved if the production of currency were more easily monitored.
Anyway he does seem really passionate.
The part that made me cringe, though, was the line "That way, the players control how much money is in circulation on their server."
