Wow I can't believe how many negative comments.

What you have done, Ankama, is create a game that fosters the development of environmental and political and possibly even economical awareness. I feel that while your goals may have been entertainment, this game introduces so many wonderful concepts to youth.

To your success!

Ive been saying this since CBT, and before. Wakfu is a RP based game. As player we RP witht he environment, politics, and ecosystem as the game designer stated we play key roles. You cant play wakfu without RPing , ive said that before, this just backs me up 100% more

Can someone explain to me why... just why would you put up someone who can NOT speak, did NOT rehearse and lacks so much passion in her speech to introduce your game. Just why, I can't believe you don't have a single passionate person who could've spoke in that video, if not then man... recruit some people who have the will to live.

I am originally french, I had to mute her and read the subs to stay interested before I shot myself in the head out of unbearable boredom.

Putting aside that terrible move... I also still wonder why so many important things are left unaddressed so close to full release. Wakfu is losing credibility and a lot of players already, not to say they won't come back but yeah, it just shows how much SE cares. This is no news in the MMO industry and most of us know how a game quickly fades into dust when the devs are merely involved with their community.

The part that made me cringe, though, was the line "That way, the players control how much money is in circulation on their server."

Why? Not good at being a business man? This system doesn't really stop anyone from getting rich, as long as they're smart about it.

Being able to understand how the economy is doing is a great thing for a game.
In other games, inflation and duplication hacks cause major mayhem that could easily be solved if the production of currency were more easily monitored.

So when can we expect a stat reset NPC?

Azael looks and sounds exactly like someone I went to school with.

Anyway he does seem really passionate.

I know how you feel.

I like that they released this. ^__^ It's nice to see some of the faces behind the game, and to hear them describe the game (or, at least, their hopes for the game) in their own voices. Azael, in particular, seems genuinely passionate about it.

Lovely vid for new players! Next time when someone asks me what's so good about this game, I can just link this to them rather than explain the dynamics myself. Yeahrr!
