WAKFU: Open Beta Has Begun
Are you ready? Because we are. WAKFU has now officially transitioned into Open Beta in North America! You and your friends are now able to log into the game freely in order to test the player-driven World of Twelve. See below for details.
With the new Content Update 0.311 well underway, the former restrictions of Closed Beta have been removed. And while you all are rushing to get in, we’re just bursting at the seams with a slew of events and contests that are just waiting to be announced. There’s always something new to enjoy in WAKFU and many there to enjoy it with. Due to all of the recent changes related with the test phase transition, we’ve put together an accommodating Frequently Asked Questions listing, suitable for both new and returning readers alike. Have something to share – feedback or a question? Maybe even a bug report or two? Join our community on the Official Forum where there are many fans and staff members willing to lend a helpful hand. I can't seem to even update this freaking game (i've said this on three dif threads already...lol...but srly) can someone help...im pissed that it seems i'm the only one having this prob....
(Iny time i'm updating it's constantly saying either the updater is frozen or proxy isnt connected..which im not even usng ..or it just quits completely..all causing me to start from the begining!!) This post has been edited by IcarusDexer - January 04, 2012, 19:26:58. Reason for edit : Reasons

I can't get past the first patch/update after re-installing the game multiple times.

Actually, having problems on this side too. From the other forums, I'm getting the impression that the server went up for about twenty minutes and then went down again. For right now I'm pretty sure the servers are just having minor "brown outs" due to the massive influx of players.

So I noticed that I can get on any server I want now... is this a permanent thing or was it unintentional?

As many users accidentally download the wrong installer for their region, we have essentially negated this concern. However, I believe you should only be able to access your respective community and not server-hop. If not, this function should be enabled soon, so I recommend staying in your designated home server.

It is identified with a USA-Canada combo flag. Each server option also has a mouse-over pop-up with more detailed information for your benefit.

After I turned my Virus Scanner off, I had no problem installing / running the game. You guys having problems may want to give that a try just to see!

It's taking too long for the patch to be downloaded.. :/
But anyway, hope that choosing your server stays, because it was like that in Dofus and there was really no problem. Also.. it seems that this patch added alot of exciting stuff  |

I am very impressed with this update ive been on since the first key handouts ever and must say this is one of the best updates well done ankama
 ! Also the Sram is an amazing class hope ur planning on amping up the eca, rouge, and masq or i think they'll be way to many people playing the same class ! |
