The Divine Dimensions are coming soon on all our servers. However, two Divine Bosses benefited from an open door to come and settle on the Beta server. They even used this opportunity to show off the revamp of Lock and Dodge!
Starting this Friday, May 23rd, the creations of the gods will blow your mind.
On May 23rd starting at 12 PM GMT / 8 AM EST / 5 AM PST, the Beta server will be revamped and will offer you to test two Bosses of the upcoming Divine Dimension.
You will also have the opportunity to try out the new Lock / Dodge system: no longer a success rate linked to movement. Now, getting out of a Lock zone will trigger a cost in AP / MP depending on the Dodge of your character and the Lock of your opponent. If the character does not have enough AP / MP, movement will be impossible.
If you want to discover and give us your thoughts on these changes, you can simply log in and play!
To connecxt to the Beta server, just make sure to download and install one of these versions of the Updater:

You will then be able to access the Beta server normally via your login and password as usual.
All of your characters will be imported with your Sidekick to the Beta server as they were on Thursday 22/05 at 9:59 PM GMT / 5:59 PM EST / 2:59 PST.
Attention: Please note that this server does not give you access to the interface gift, or the Boutique, or to Krosmaster and that it is reserved to our subscribed players.
Also note that changes to your characters on the Beta server will not be reflected on your original server. In addition, since it is a Beta server, all the content is to be noted as being under development, we may have to restart/update it at any time.
Please keep in mind that the contents of this server is subject to change and further balancing, and doesn't necessarily reflect the final quality of the content present in-game. Therefore your feedback will help us detect any bug that may still be there on the Bosses and make sure that their behavior correspond to your expectations.
Modification of the monsters gameplay will also be made in the upcoming weeks in order to adapt them to the new Lock/Dodge system.
To facilitate testing and enable us to get a maximum amount of feedback, we placed next to the Almanax Temple a Machine to obtain equipment items and various consumables (respec, experience scroll, etc.)
This Machine will also allow you to get your hands on some "Heraldicana", mysterious potion that will allow you to teleport directly to the area of both Bosses. You will then be able to participate in the ongoing fights or start your own! With a bit of luck [DY7] & [3xited] will be there to give you valuable advices (or not so valuable)!

It looks exactly like the same lock/dodge mechanism we have in Dofus.
But in Dofus Lock is based in agility, that's the only difference.
It basically works like this, depending on your dodge, the dodge roll will cost less or more. There are cases taht it costs a few AP and MP to move away from an enemy that has high lock. I think that masks are getting a huge benefit from that, since those 5% chance of failing are becoming 0%. However, against mobs with hundreds of lock, I am afraid that you will need to spare at least 1 ap and MP to move away, while other players need I'd say three to four times more.
No. The stat itself is not changing, just the dynamic between Dodge and Lock in combat.
500 dodge pre-patch is 500 dodge post-patch. But your 95% chance against 0 lock becomes -0 ap -0 mp and works every time. That's the change.
