Come on already! You've given resets before. What's the freaking issue?

Handle your scandal, Ankama.

Respec please. I want to try Water Ecaflip and give my feedback.

Ankama... help me, help you.

So, I hate to be impatient but is there an ETA on remaining respec cases? The only character of mine that I wanted to respec (Xelor) did not receive a respec and I'm pretty bummed out because of it.

Otherwise, I've been (mostly) content with this patch so far.

Now you ask us to be patient? No thank you, this is a product we are buying and paying for every month
No, you pay for access. Can you freely log into the servers? Yes? Congratulations, you got what you paid for.

[...]

If you are a programmer yourself you should know how much better other gaming companies deal with this. I mentioned one Indie game before that is currently breaking all kinds of record with how many players it got since open Beta release. That is being produced by 15 devs in an indie company. They deploy patches and hotfixes as it is necessary about once a week together with content patches once a week or at least once a month. You know how long their downtimes are? There are none! Because they think ahead and plan properly... The server goes down for exactly 1 minute, then you download a patch and then it works. No more hotfixes for the hotfix or some shit. And if they need to apply another hotfix, guess what? Takes again 1 minute of downtime. Why can't Wakfu do the same?

First off: No I cannot. The servers have been down almost all day yesterday. I paid for that time.

Second: This is not what I pay for. Dunno who told you such nonsense. I pay for a proper service.

If I buy a giant ass plasma TV for thousands of Dollars and they deliver me a 20 year old 5 inch mini TV with the argument: "Well you paid for watching TV and you can watch TV on this." Then I am sure as hell not satisfied either.

Also, compalining in a constructive way is actually very useful and should be regarded as such by a good programmer. So maybe you should start to learn about that. A programmer does best if he delivers the wishes and hopes of the community he is working for. Not by constantly ignoring them and calling them annoying kids. If you ever sell a product with that attitude I can guarantee you it will tank fast.

Last but not least if you plan ahead you would not have to work out extensive fixes. That is just a result of the piss poor way Wakfu devs are working towards the big patches. How on earth can it possibly happen that it goes unnoticed when half the game is in french all of a sudden...

And take it from someone who actually deals with programming themselves; You dont do yourselves any favors by constantly crying foul. Anything beyond notifying those responsible of an issue is nothing more than a windbag puffing up their chest in unnecessary indignation. Why? Because extensive fixes, like what's going to be involved with all of this crap, arent going to happen overnight. It could take several days at worst to get a fix out.

@katralynn, in cases like this, "next maintenance" isnt the next routine maintenance. After all, this isnt a routine situation.

Eh some people just need to work on there self control a lil bit... I'll probably get bitched at for that comment lol. But yea theres no sense in complaining, the game producers can't just snap there fingers and then everything be fixed... It takes time. So we should honor that by being patient.

You clearly have not been around very long. There are very good reasons to complain seeing how many things the developers have screwed up over the past year. Not a single update came without major problems yet. Everytime they had to give some kind of compensation for the hours and hours of server downtime.

At the same time their updates are very often not well thought through (Kama revamp will cause massive inflation for example, that kind of stuff) or aren't tested sufficiently (Class changes in this case).

Now you ask us to be patient? No thank you, this is a product we are buying and paying for every month. So we all can expect proper service. Right away. That is how a good product works and if a company cannot hold up to such standards it better expects to get some flak.

That will at least assure they are constantly reminded of their own shortcomings and might work on improving those, or it will get us players something back in the form of re-working flawed mechanics or handing out compensations.

P.S.: Most of the people that do not just whine, but complain with reason and arguments are not kids at all. The ones that sit silently and obey the big company overlord are the immature ones.
