FOGGERNAUTS: first pictures of the invasion
Foggernauts just emerged and assaulted HQs and villages without warning. If nobody drives them off, they might take over the World of Twelve in a few hours! Watch the video of their surprise attack and be the first to face them on land and see. It’s time to fight back!

All hands of the World of Twelve on deck!
Foggernauts invaders just launched an offensive and assaulted the starting areas of each nation. They must be stopped at all cost!

Here is the strategy that will be applied:

Step 1: You have to defeat the Foggernauts that surfaced to stop their progress. Once you defeated your first one, the real fight begins: you’ll have to take down 50 Foggernauts!

Step 2: Once this objective is reached, you’ll have a chance to end this war but only by defeating one of their most lethal killing machine: the Sire Flexington boss. He will be waiting for you on the Crimson Claw Island! Better go there with a group if you hope to defeat him…
The winners will receive an exclusive title and other rewards, additionally to the gratitude of their fellow-citizens!
Organize the counter attack and drive off the Foggernauts to the depth of the Asse Sea!

One of the best quests I have ever done.

The boss was amazing, really cool I loved his spells and different protection spells that he had.
It was funny that only one member of my team could attack at once which reminded me of the good old dofus days when a monsters resistance was so high that only the right element could attack it.


Also did they manage to invade anywhere ^^ ?.

Unless they have changed something, the damage you do by exploding bombs (not other directly targeting spells) cannot be reflected to you.

The battlefield filled with obstacles with which you should be able to block his line of sight to you. Just make a guess and drop some bombs on the way from him to you, then run, so that he will end up standing close to those bombs or on them.

You may want to set your gear so you have 4-5 MP if not more. Use even Flaming Claw if necessary to get away. If the boss run too far away from some bombs you can use Magnetic Claw to put them in the right place.

Boombot is your friend in all cases, be creative and don't solely rely on the firewall.

I'm a fire rouge and I tell you, this is no advantage at all. The thing's damn shield not just protects it against damage, it hurts me everytime it's supposed to get damaged itself.

So I put a wall up, the thing gets lucky and can be hurt by anything except fire turn after turn in a row. It gets close to me, moves over the firewall - I get hit. Bombs explode - I get hit. And then it hits me with its machinegun.
Was I level 105 I probably could've taken the damage, but I'm not. And with my damage output I will need at the very least 2 turns in a row of that thing being vulnerable to fire. Or I die. And that's a big coincidence, considering so far(and I've done the quest three times by now) it had 0 turns vulnerable to fire.

So, obviously the advantage you talk about... I'm sorry, but I don't see it.) I see it backwards- the thing damages me by reflecting the damage it should've taken by itself. And I can't really control it. Nope, let me rephrase it - I can not control it at all. The vulnerable element is chosen at the start of it's turn. So, if I wait for the element to be fire, the thing doesn't get hit by my firewall, because on it's turn it's going to change the vulnerable element. If I don't wait, I'm playing the lottery. 3 to 1 that it hits me by my own firewall.

The rest of the message is complaint about the bugginess and do not relate to you, so please do not take it personally.

So I can't solo the thing. The obvious answer to this would be - hey, do it in party! Which I would love to do., but here's the funny thing. I can't. I have no guild and no nation! Because of a bug that everybody knows about, that at least 400+ players are experiencing right now and a lot experienced before, and so far it wasn't fixed. I have no chat-box. I did found a way to open a chat-box, but I have no guild due to the bug, so I can not call my guildmates. And even if I could, they don't have the chatbox and most of them probably didn't figure out the work-around, so I will probably shout to emptiness.
All of this is multiplied by having no sound, log-in screen music looping non-stop, my HP being shown as 0, being unable to sit or do any emotion, being unable to get out of dungeons... and the list goes on.

So this event... I really wanted to like it. Terminators are pretty cool and this might be a good preview of Foggernauts, but with all the bugginess I'm experiencing right now... I felt better on beta-test. I've gained a day full of irritating not-really-gameplay, which is certainly not what I've paid for (and will probably "gain" more, because no one has yet answered on my bug-report or forum topic, so I'm guessing they've put it into a long-box, if they put it anywhere at all), but nobody will take any responsibility for it. It will be hillarious, if this bug stays for the rest of my X Month subscription.

I wish ankama programmers were as good as their artists are, or at least there would be some retaliation for the critical bugs current users are experiencing =_=
