Almanax: Making each day unique!

Almanax: Making each day unique!
26
You already know about the Protectors of the months. You’re also aware of the Deamons of the Hours…  What you didn’t know, is that days also have their benefactors! From September 18, discover the Meridia, and if you accomplish all the challenges of these minor divinities, available on the Almanax, you might be rewarded with the first ever mount in WAKFU!

Few years ago, Magus Ax, eminent Professor of magic and divinatory arts, decided to solve a great mystery: if months were governed by Protectors, and hours by Daemons, what about the days? Wasn’t there anyone in the high spheres of Ingloriom to take care of them?

And how to explain these strange events repeating each year, such as St. Ballotwine's Day or Al Howin? What if each day had such an impact, more or less visible in the World of Twelve?

Specialist of astral journeys, Magus Ax explored the Krosmoz and found the answer on the Astral Plane: minor gods hand-picked by Xelor himself were promoted to Keepers of the Days or Meridia. Each one of them had special powers and personalities, influencing the day they were bound to. That’s what we call the Meridian Effect
The researches of Magus Ax were gathered into a book: the Almanax.

From September 18th, all adventurers will get access to this book online, to discover the Meridian Effect of the day, which translates into a theme and a daily quest!
In other words, each new day will offer rewards to those who read the Almanax and complete the daily quest.

And about the Mount, only the most resolved can entertain the hope of riding one! It will only be granted to those who completed 365 daily quests of the Almanax… Even though its origins and powers are not yet fully known, it will surely be proof that you completed a great deed…

People should read Troyle's third post and also Nillii before pressing the button "last page" and criticizing straightway oO

Anyway, that's a new thing for the game, in other words, more things to do.. if u don't like it u don't have to do it... ankama has to please many kinds of wakfu players; I'm not into this kinda thing so much, but as someone has said it would be a good thing to do if u a bored with the game perhaps that would be a good idea.

I think we should wait for the full dev post and then comment because unlike some companies amkana can quickly turn 180 and even 360.

After the full post Let them have it!!!!

Depending on what type of quests they are, this could be really fun. Whenever you're bored and can't think of what to do - just check the daily quests and there you go.

It's also nice that you don't actually have to do 365 quests every single day without a break. It's just that every time you do finish a daily quest, you will get one step closer to 365, whether it takes you one year or five years to complete. I wonder what state Wakfu will be in by the time anyone gets this mount xD

do you have to be a member to get quests?
and I think you don't have to complete a full year of them just 365 of them.

Which part of Troyles post does it say they are not developing new contents? In fact, the morse code and the pictures shows there are some new content coming.

However i do agreed with the length of the daily quests being too long.

A mount on Wakfu and a dofus on Dofus .

Either way, we won't be seeing many of these mounts in the distant future.. If it was something like completing 365 quests whenever you felt like it,I might feel a little optimistic.

Like I said, interesting way to get individuals to sub for a year.
tharmogoyf 25 August 2012 - 01:04
Ok guys, you say content first, but how should they do that? Devs make this game for quite a bit of time and they need to get some profit out of it, before they can make mayor changes. Ankama is a company, that how it works. At least we starts to have new events and changes. Once Wakfu will grow in numbers of subs, devs will get more possible ways to upgrade game. For now i need to say, I look forward to this update and will have to check if my funds are enough for next sub.

Seriously?!?! complete 365 daily quests?!?! Who in hell plays Wakfu EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!! If you guys wanted it to be accessible, than you should reward the one who complete...I don't know...80% of the daily quests maybe...not ALL of them, it's impossible!!! And I agree with Joker, you should add extra content to Wakfu!
