This change is still be confirmed, therefore in the meantime we removed it from the changelog today but this is only the start, so make sure to check on Friday for the confirmation and maybe more changes.

Hi everyone,

Here is another session of our Q&A "The Devs Question Bucket" with the answers to some of your questions that you have kindly shared with us so thank you for them and let's get started, shall we?

Will the Seal of Companionship ever get an aura?



This will depends on its role in the upcoming craft revamp.

Are the profession levels going to be reset during the crafting revamp?



No, they will not be reset.

Will the Wakfu series hold clues to secret recipes that are hidden in the game?



No, we are not planning on having clues added at this time.

Can Perfect Armor look like a suit of armor? I don't like the current animation, the old peace armor looks better.



Unfortunately this isn't a priority right now for us to make such change but we have made note of it, thank you.

Why are most dungeons 2-3 hours now?



Dungeons are harder now, but we are planning on having a complete character power revamp and the same for the monsters during the global class revamp planned for the middle of this year, therefore this amount of time may change.

When will a shared inventory for all of your characters for 1 account be implemented?



We are actually thinking about it but with no precise date to share at this time.

When will emerald and crystal stone become obtainable?



They will be available with the crafting revamp if they are deemed to be necessary for the new recipes.

A lot of people are wondering if there really was not supposed to be another tangible reward for the Wild Estate questline (Like the fancy archeologist costumes), aside from the scepter now having more use. Could this perhaps be elaborated or looked into?



The ultimate reward for the completion of the questline is meant to be the scepter as it is now. From the first "temple" we had the idea to have items rewards in order to unlock new areas of discovery. At the moment we have only "simple" areas but more complex areas will come in the future.

Will sidekicks get unique cosmetic wearables to give them a personal touch? Having multiple of the same ones in a battle tends to get a bit confusing with them looking the same.



This has been planned but we do not have enough time to develop this in order to focus on the feature itself but it will come.

Are there plans for recolorization of items/costumes to personalize your character's look even more?



Yes, it is a type of service that we would like to offer you but we do not have a date to share yet.

With the addition of the anti bot system, will there be plans to have additional possible profession-encounters to make the experience more fun and rewarding? (Encounters not specifically aimed at hindering bots that is)

Hi guys,

Thank you for letting us know, the team is running some tests on this and we would like to ask you for more information such as the followings:

  • A screenshot of the area where you are stuck
  • The time when it happened
  • The name and level of your character
  • Does the bug happens while doing the quest in group or solo?
  • If possible: please send your game logs to the support team and share with us your ticket number here.
  • If doing a relog, and the bug is still there, do you start again in group or solo?

Haha, that is cute, what she meant is there will be no maintenance in order to unlock the 2nd area of Saharash Island.

This only requires an activation.

I checked with the devs and the mines and ecosystems weren't reset with this maintenance, but please keep reporting these in the 1.32 bug reports subforum so that we can investigate any particular ecosystem or mines.

Weekly Maintenance Every Tuesdays Hello,

Please note that we will have a maintenance every Tuesdays from 6 AM GMT/ 2 AM EST / 11 PM PST (Mondays) until approximately 7 AM GMT / 3 AM EST / 12:00 AM PST.

Hi everyone,

Today I would like to share with you some answers to your questions:

First I would also like to thank the community for them and I am looking forward to continue this Q&A with you, so let's get started...

When are we going to have a global drop rate and Prospecting system revamp?



We are looking into this for June or July, with no set dates yet as it will be part of the global combat system revamp.

Regarding PP from Grou: The main issue with prospection is linked directly with the Enutrof class, as the class has been offering too big of a PP bonus, which had the consequence to make the Game Designers forced to adapt the drop rate to an amount of PP extremely high for the Enutrof to reach, therefore forcing the players to have an Enutrof in their group to correctly loot, the result was for the players who no longer had an organized guild infrastructure to be unable to get the correct amount of loot.

While the loot advantage is an aspect of the Enutrof, this needs to stay within correct proportions, imagine an Iop hitting 3 times more than any other class and therefore finding the class overruling the server and making all the other classes useless.

The goal is to still balance the drop rate between the Enutrof class and the other classes. It is complicated to do this without going through a modification of the Enutrof as they are at such a higher level than the other classes that the other solution would imply having to make unnecessary heavy changes, as if all players of a moderate level would then have the PP of an Enutrof, we would then have to modify items in order to fix the gap, and possibly opening the gate to another type of issue, which would also make the difficulty of obtaining an item much lower and therefore we would also have to review all the items drop rate for this particular aspect as well.

With the upcoming craft revamp, it is planned to have a deeper review of PP in order to make things clearer and more logical for the players.

A review of the Enutrof PP aspect is also planned but the date isn't set in stone and this will also depends on the current team’s workload and what we have already planned for 2014.

When can we expect to see the content that we suggested a while ago to be implemented, such as PvP revamp, GvG, Dungeons, Mobile Arena, Trool Fair, etc.., will they be on this year’s planning?



We do not have concrete information for these but it won’t be prior to the June/July global revamp, therefore some of these may be after.

Is there any new information regarding mounts?



We are not planning on introducing mounts in 2014.

Are you planning on fixing the lag issues?



Yes, we are currently looking into it and a first maintenance is in the way for tomorrow: here, we are also investigating your reports.

Are there any plans to expend the Count Harebourg storyline?



We haven’t planned on it yet.

Will there be a function to reconnect while being in combat? And will there be a group search function to join dungeons or simply invite new players who are working on the same goal?



Not yet planned for 2014 but will be in the works.

When will we be able to get the Black Wabbit Costume?



Soon but we cannot break the surprise yet.

Regarding the Smithmagic revamp, are we going to also have Wisdom and PP hammers?



These aren’t planned to be implemented as it is the same for the Wisdom and PP runes.

Will there be any change to the relics drop rate (such as doing a roll for each fragment)?



No, this roll system is already in place for the players but remains invisible.

Any news on whether or not we can expect to get (or purchase) more character slots on an account in the near future?



This is possibly planned (but can’t give too big of a spoiler).

Will the towns be put to good use (Fused with the craft revamp perhaps), as they currently feel redundant and incredibly abandoned/empty?



The Capitals revamp is planned for 2014 and we are making notes of your suggestions.

Any plans to have the outside-of-combat healing rate looked into, or 'downtime' in general? Healing up after a combat often feels like a heavier penalty than dyeing (De-darm) in this game. The whole downtime system currently just feels incredibly unfair and horribly archaic in nature.



We are working on making an option available to you.

When will we be allowed to use our visual emotes during combat?



This isn’t planned at this time.

We are missing the fish "Swordfish Tench" for level 95 fishing, and also chef crafts for level 80 and 85. Most high level fish are also not used in any recipe. Will we get these any time soon?



Yes, this will come with the crafting revamp.

Can the level 100 and level 200 weapons get new special effects like they used to? (Like Kam's Hand summoning a chafer)



We aren’t planning on adding new special effects at this time but we really enjoyed offering you the choice when it came to the auras for the 2 new relics.

Server maintenance - 01.04.2014 Hello,

Tomorrow our weekly maintenance will start at 7 AM GMT / 3 AM EST / 12:00 AM PST (instead of 1 hour earlier).

We will be making modifications to improve our infrastructure, particularity to help fix the lag issues.

We will also fix the issue linked of the door of the Lenald Plison and the Wild Estate quest.

Therefore this maintenance may last a little longer than usual and may last for approximately 1 hour and a half, but we will keep you informed of when the servers will be back online.

Hi everyone,

I am coming back with some information that I would like to share with you guys for this post-hotfix day:

We added to the changelog the following point:

  • [New] General: All the Sidekicks will also be available to non subscribers as well as being able to try them for free weekly.

Now for the extra information:

  • The Macawker currently cannot be stored in the Haven Bag Chest and the team is looking into fixing this bug but as it is a quest reward it will remain untradable.

  • We are looking into being able to stack the Handyman creations.

  • It is still not planned to have mounts yet on WAKFU.

  • The Healing power of Lumino was reduced due to the change to Healings: this is a bug and the team is looking into it.

  • The ecosystem and mines reset are a bug which are being looked into as well.

  • In case of being defeated by Major Cat he will come back within the next 10 harvest to challenge you again, fighting and winning against him will remove any penalties.

I can confirm that in fact the mines have been reset but as this wasn't wanted to happen we are currently treating it as a bug to be fixed.
