The Curse of Al Howin

Every year, as Halloween’s Day draws closer, the inhabitants of the World of Twelve fear the worst. But have you ever wondered why this period scares everyone so much?

In days gone by, during the DOFUS Era, the passage from Octolliard to Novamaire was blighted by a strange curse every year…

Legend has it that a Pumpkwin farmer named Al Howin was banished from Amakna for trickery and casting forbidden spells. The Bwork became so bitter and angry that he decided to return every year to sow discord in Amakna by bewitching Gobballs and Tofus.

We don’t know whether or not the Bwork survived Ogrest’s Chaos and is still eager to take his revenge, or if maybe some practical jokers are planning to pick up where he left off, but, in the Wakfu era, the World of Twelve is feeling more than a little uneasy as Octolliard 31st approaches.

Adventurers, beware! Who knows what horrors await you this year…?

Wakfu and Stasis Islands

You’ve probably already been wondering if your dedication to Wakfu or Stasis would be rewarded one day… apart from the change of color of your beloved Gemlin, of course! You might find the answer to your question here!

Two mysterious islands…

It seems that two sanctuaries have recently appeared and they are only accessible to people who devote themselves unconditionally to one of the two ultimate powers, Wakfu and Stasis. Keep an eye on your gauge. Once your Wakfu or Stasis level has reached at least 30%, you will be able to access one of these two mystic regions, which have some surprises in store!

Of course, the laws that govern these peaceful sanctuaries forbid any battles from taking place. You will, therefore, have to prove you are worthy of these celestial islands: All players with the same alignment, regardless of nation, will have to help each other fill the containers and unlock access to the different island zones. Each zone offers various bonuses, like, for instance, an increased rate of harvesting for Stasis Island, or of planting for Wakfu Island.

These islands will also give you the opportunity to discover a little more about the history of WAKFU, through stones that tell the story of Wakfu and Stasis.

Unique new equipment!

But the main advantage of these islands is that they will allow you to craft about 15 unique pieces of equipment, full of the power of Wakfu or Stasis, thanks to special machines, which you unlock step by step. Only those who prove themselves worthy will be able to equip these items. Maybe now you’ll think twice before you plant those resources or kill that Gobball!

A new gameplay for the Sacriers Empty eyes, tattoos all over their body and a wild desire to spill their own blood in honor of their Goddess: the Sacriers are getting ready to “Chrage The World of Twelve!
Here and now, discover these Berserkers’ new gameplay.

Sacriers are characters of action but who can be subtle. The Sacrier recklessly commits into battles and the saying “what does not kill you makes you stronger” could not be truer than in his case.

The Chrage

Chrage is the Sacrier’s class main mechanic. It consists in a fury gauge which naturally decreases on each turn but which increases when the Sacrier suffers damages!

This mechanic supposes a gameplay without any down time for the Sacrier, because any fall of charge implies for him weaker damages inflicted. Indeed, Chrage reinforces some spells and is even compulsory to cast others.

Fire Branch

The fire branch is the branch of pain and blood. And so it is the branch which boosts the Chrage gauge by excellence.

Blood for blood: the Sacrier hits his enemy but harms himself too during the attack.
Blood cage: a powerful area spell which decreases the adverse Chrage and increases the Chrage generated by the Sacrier but prevents him from being healed.
Sanguinary fury: a spell that becomes more and more powerful during a round every time it hits, if the Sacrier changes his target, but which is also more and more painful.
Punishment: a powerful fire spell but which harms the Sacrier too. It applies the Chrager state to the Sacrier. It is more effective if his enemy’s percentage of life points remaining is higher than his.
Burning blood: the Sacrier is set ablaze, making area damages around him (and suffers damages too) and by applying himself the “Burning” state during one round and the “Scalded” state. During this round, all the targets in “Scalded” state beginning their round on contact with the Sacrier suffer damages (serious burnt) and lose their “Scalded” state.

Earth branch

The earth branch is the branch which consumes the most chrage. It is made almost exclusively of spells that need a certain level of Chrage to be executed or that even consume Chrage themselves.

Rocky foot: the Sacrier concentrates up to 10% of his Chrage (if he has some) in his right leg and makes it as strong as rock before hitting his target with it.
“Bowlcracking hit”: the Sacrier thumps his enemy having concentrated his Chrage in his head. At least 30% of his Chrage is necessary to be able to use this attack.
Lethal sling: the Sacrier puts his hand on the ground and, thanks to his Chrage and his tattoo, roots up a rock and throws it to his enemies. The more Chrage he has, the further he can throw it.
Colonnades: the Sacrier concentrates his Chrage in his foot and he strikes the ground with all his strength, which makes rocky columns coming out from the ground that are more painful when the target is near them.
Smash: the Scarier concentrates his Chrage in his head and hits with it, then in his fist and strikes with it too, before finally transferring the Chrage into his leg and ending his enemy with it. This attack consumes 80% of Chrage but it hurts so much!

Air branch

The air branch is the placement and tattoos branch. This is the most tactical one which allows the Sacrier to place himself, his allies or enemies in a position that gives him an advantage. Air spells are rather neutral in comparison to Chrage. They mainly allow Sacris to find the right place and move fast to catch hits.

Repelling tattoo: the Sacrier hits his target with his tattoos and pushes it back one square.
Grabbing tattooed fist: the Sacrieur grabs his target with his tattoos and throws himself towards it in order to strike it.
Assault: the Sacrier exchanges his place with his target’s one, inflicting it damages on the way.
Attracting tattooed fist: the Sacrieur throws his tattoos to his target in order to bring it back to him, or actually to his other fist.
Dazzling speed: the Scarieur moves faster than air and seems to be in several places at a time to strike his targets. Actually, he is already in their backs, on the opposite side from where he has just attacked.

Class specialties

Attraction: this spell allows the Sacrier to attract an ally or enemy to him.
Sacrifice: this spell allows the Sacrier to take hits instead of one of his ally during 1 round. Every time the Sacrifice target suffers damages, they exchange their place.
Transposition: this spell allows the Sacrier to exchange his position with an ally or an enemy without any line of sight needed.
Kill: this spell allows the Sacrier to get back some Chrage spent on the current round if he strikes a target to death.
Transports sickness: inflicts the “Transports sickness” state to the target, who will suffer damages every time it will be teleported by an effect.
Near death (passive): this spell makes the Sacrier stronger when he gets closer to death.
Death refuse (Passive): if the Sacrier is fatally injured, there is a probability he refuses to die: he stays alive and suffers all the attacks without flinching but his next round will be his last.
Blood pact (Passive): a blood pact links the Sacrier and his allies, the Sacrier Goddess gives him life points for each ally he has to protect; on the other hand, if the ally dies, the Sacrier suffers important damage for having failed to the blood pact.
Adrenaline (Passive): determines the percentage of Chrage that the Sacrier disposes of at the beginning of the battle.
Power (Passive): if the Sacrier begins his round with a 100% Chrage, he earns damages bonuses.

Translation Status Hello everyone!
The WAKFU beta 0.3 is now available in English, however (and as you might have noticed) the translation is still in progress:
  • Items: As there as been a huge amount of changes on the items during the last few weeks, the translations for some of them might be out of date. We are currently working on it and everything should be back to normal soon.
  • Consistency: As for the items, a lot of place names, NPC names, spellings, etc. have changed recently. Those will be updated in the future versions.
  • Other areas such as the spells, clan members, etc. are also being updated and tweaked.
I hope you'll enjoy the game, but please remember that this is a closed beta and that the quality of the translation will dramatically improve over the coming weeks

Cheers,
Big Up

Wakfu & Stasis Under Investigation

For decades, the greatest scientists have been studying that mysterious energy rediscovered after the Chaos of Ogrest - Wakfu. The greatest researchers have been working to understand its origin, function, and how to control it.

Until now, many theories have emerged on Wakfu and Stasis. The last officially recognized by the CUGA was that Wakfu represented Nature’s balance, the ideal state for all life in all ecosystems. In contrast, Stasis was the imbalance, the overcrowding and the under-population of a species.

This theory seemed to have been confirmed by the arrival of Gemlins - adventurer’s eternal companions that held immense knowledge and were a reflection of their master’s souls - turning blue when their master was a Wakfu follower and purple when their heart was thought to be more Stasis inclined.

And so it is with these instructions from the CUGA that Clan Members, the protectors of our land, have made sure that law and order was enforced on their ecosystem.

But the latest research by the Prophet Daryl came to question this theory. If you still doubted that Gemlins where pranksters, you’ll soon change your mind.

The offspring of Incarnam have come clean. They’ve been playing us for months! Their representation of our karma is wrong...

After that revelation and a series of inconclusive interrogations with them - the creatures have not proven worthy to provide a clear and consistent explanation - all theories are once again under consideration.

We are back to basics ... Wakfu would appear to be the glue of nature and the symbol of creation. While Stasis, is the juice of machinery, synonymous with death and destruction. Are they the two sides of the coin? Could they be opposite energies?

While waiting for the results, the CUGA has decided not to change the current ecosystem and territory management system. But you must prepare yourself - changes are on their way, and anything could happen...

What a Beach!

Hear ye, hear ye! Brave architects of the World 12, the day has finally come!

The whole Level Designer team, accompanied by the CCMs, have carefully looked over your entries for the “What a Beach!” contest!

Here is our selection of the most beautiful beaches... and the name of the lucky winner!

Almost Finalists

They were chosen by the members of the jury, but have not managed to amass enough votes to enter the top 3. Each will receive, if desired, the forum title of Apprentice Landscaper.

Toa-Taou

Plage de Toataou

A beach that seems like good fun! It reminds me of old family vacations...

Kura: love the idea of the kite.

Astaris

Plage d'AstarisI like the tower on the beach, easy to see invaders before they land.

Pixcraft: A majestic tower which makes visitors want to enter and discover what secrets hide behind its doors!

Asquiol

Plage de Carnelian Here, there are no frills, it’s a natural beautiful scenery. A wild beach that’s just ready to welcome someone. This is the island where I would like to get lost! It’s simply beautiful! One of my personal favourites!

Zidrune: I love the architecture of this little oasis. As they say, simple but effective!

Alrik: A small natural lake mixed with sea waves, this is the premise of happiness!

JulienChen

Plage de Julien ChenThis beach has a swamp feel to it, we love the small temple dedicated to Iop on the coast of this wild foggy beach.

Alrik: A beach that is almost eerie yet full of mysteries - who makes you want to flip every grain of sand to unearth all of its secrets! It is bold, and I love it!

Droidenlamuraille

Plage de DroidenlamurailleOne of the most original beaches that has activities for every class! I particularly like the octopus volleyball net or the hopscotch for Sacriers

Fhenris: Humor and easter eggs, what’s there not to love. I can see you really thought about this to make awesome pictograms! Congratulations.

Alex: The hopscotch for Sacrier ... It works, it really made me laugh!

Lagotar

Plage de LagotarHis awesome creation is full of references to popular culture. But will you be able to find all of them?

Pixcraft: How could one not be amazed by that glorious round table? Definitely a place that has made its mark on history and that could not leave historians indifferent.

Kura: The beach really tells a story. One could only imagine the quests and challenges that could go on here - and I’m not even talking about all the role-play possibilities. The references to Kaamelot made me laugh, truly one of the best beaches for me.

Top 3 Winners:

Here are our top three winners, that clearly stand out by the number of votes they’ve received. Each will receive an avatar on the forums with an exclusive title both on the forums and ingame - it will be added with the next patch.

Third Place: Darvania

Plage de DarvaniaBeautiful setting even if you did not follow the isometric system too closely!

Alrik: a perfect mix between the lush countryside and dry hot sands, heightened by beautiful and soothing colors - and there’s even a waterfall to wash away the sand to boot!

Second Place: jrejROSSI

Plage de JrejrossiMore than a beach, a whole island can be found here. The highlight for me is that it’s has a Wakfu feel to it, even the pictograms that were created by the author give off that impression.

Kura: Very nice and nice job on taking into account the constraints of Wakfu. I particularly applaud the creation of pictograms that you’ve drawn yourself. I’d almost want to spend my vacation there, if there wasn’t the risk of being engulfed by the vortex that is. Who knows, perhaps a hidden treasure would make me change my mind...

Fhenris: My second favorite, with its created elements - I love this islands!

First Place: bocuk

Plage de BocukBocukAnd finally here is our winner! I’m very proud to announce that the winner was from the international community. =) Her 'Starfish Cove' has won the hearts of the judges! This white sandy beach has won victory almost unanimously. This is the beach you will find someday on Wakfu! Maybe in a few weeks, perhaps in a few months (hoping that it won’t be in a few years! ) but it’ll come! Just have to give time to our team of Level Builder to find a suitable environment for it ingame.

Fhenris: Very nice choice of colors, original, with homemade pictograms, you are our champion!

Alex: Just what it takes, well balanced, even if some guy was laying butt nacked, it’d still be perfect!

Alrik: A stellar ocean coast, with a touch of mystery: everything that I like!

BenK: it was difficult to pick one of the three... nice job guys, I hope you’ll continue doing stuff as awesome as this!

Random Beaches

With over 140 entries, not everyone can get rewards. But here's a quick selection of beaches that have attracted my attention.

Plage de Bakka Minou Plage de catgrenney Plage de Defunc Plage d'Escogryphe Plage d'Evilandrex Plage de Fatality Power Plage du Faux Rhum Intérieur de la plage du Faux Rhum Plage de Foundation Plage de Fumetphe Plage de Giveitaway Plage d'on ne sait pas qui Plage d'Izura Plage de Jacogerber 2 Plage de Justfinley Plage de Kamawashy Plage de Kilaness Plage de Kimchicrusader Plage de Kollbill Plage de Kurakira Plage de LeSoleilNoir Plage de Lord Azeran Plage de Luigigab Plage de Mattrockstar Plage de Neiphtyselenwel Plage de Nenoulilly Plage de Nicolascccmoi Plage de Pattrick Plage de Ryanh92 Plage de Scorpyopanda Plage de Supermothyandco Plage de Tedinichou Plage de Tinsol Plage de Undeas Plage de Voyageurdesrêves Plage de Welshpixie

[Contest] Fashion Victim While some people go on vacation and others are busy building their dream summer destination, you’re the type who would rather use the boardwalk as your own personal catwalk?

Well this is your chance to shine! Show us your most beautiful attire and win an exclusive forum avatar! But beware, you only have one week to do it, and choose your set carefully, we will only accept one entry per person.

You have until July 18, 2010 at midnight (GMT+1) to submit your entry! Post a screenshot of your character, with a small description of your outfit in this thread! On July 19th, we will choose the most fashionable one who will receive an exclusive forum avatar with their own character!

Only one entry per person will be accepted. Please note that once you have sent your screenshot you cannot change your mind (editing your message will automatically disqualify you). Also note that you cannot post an outfit that has already been posted before, fashion is all about originality after all! ^^

[Contest] What a Beach!

You’ve always known that you had the heart of a great landscape artist, but never had the chance to bring forth that talent? Now’s the time to show us what you’re made of! Create a beautiful sandy shore and see your map integrated in-game!

But how does it work?

The principle is simple: with an isometric grid (your creation space) and a few pictograms (representing sand, water, different rocks and vegetation, etc.) You will be able to ‘build’ a beach, a bit like playing with construction blocks!

To do this, simply use your favourite advanced image editing software, and assemble the pictograms! You can also add elements of your own creation.

For those of you who are not familiar with map construction, you can find a mini-tutorial explaining it here, which will show you how to create a basic map, and even a beach in this particular case!

Are there constraints?

Of course there are, it wouldn’t be much fun otherwise! Rest assured though, there aren’t that many:

  • The beach mustn’t be bigger than the grid we’ve provided for you - Note that you do not need to use the entire surface. Please take into account that it will be integrated into a much larger space.
  • Your participation must be sent to kaoly (at) ankama.com, with the title "[contest] What a Beach!", in jpeg format please. Feel free to attach a small text explaining your thoughts and intentions.
  • Only one entry per person.
  • Remember to provide the name of your Ankama account

And what are the rewards, you wonder?

In addition to receiving a unique ‘Landscaper of the year’ title and exclusive forum avatar, the winner will see his creation added in-game! The winner will be chosen by an impartial and incorruptible jury (unless you can send us some really amazing homemade chocolates that give magical abilities! ^^) made up of Poolay, Fhenris, Pixcraft, Zidrune and Kaoly.

One more for the road: when does it end?

You will have until August 1st at midnight to send us your creations. The jury will then deliberate for approximately 2 weeks before selecting and announcing the winner.

The winning entry will be incorporated in an upcoming patch, in the near or far future, when new maps will be added.

Download the beach creation kit.

Well, now you have everything you need. Best of luck to all of you! We can’t wait to see your awesome creations.

Summer Time on Wakfu

Ever since the Dev Hours has come to an end, it’s fair to say that news has been a bit scarce… but that's about to change! Here is a preview of what’s going on this summer!

Summer time

Rebirth of the Devblog

Let’s start the festivities with a most welcome event – even with the absence of a patch, the devs have come to bring you fresh new information about the game! Gnat and Zeorus will start the ball rolling next week, with a subject that you’ve long been waiting for: “The Revamp of Spell Leveling”!

If you’ve been following the Devblog, you’ll have probably noticed that we’ve added a new category. ‘Behind the Scenes’ is where you’ll find our new biweekly column called “Spotlight on the … profession”

This summer saga (that might even continue into autumn) will answer most of the questions you’ve been asking yourself about working in the video game industry. The articles will give you an in depth look at Wakfu’s team members and maybe even eliminate the most common misconceptions about our roles here at Ankama.

Fansite Mania

Webmasters, it is time to step into the limelight and make yourselves known!

Have you been planning to create a fansite? Have you been juggling a few ideas? Now would be the time to get to work! Starting in August, the best fansites will get their own news post on the community webpage. Blogs, wikis, podcasts, forums… you name it – they will each get their very own 15 minutes of fame!

Thoughts and Crafts

Are you the type who likes to make headlines rather than read them? Who takes challenges head on, and jumps at the chance of making something with your own hands? Well if you are, boy, do we have something for you! There will be…

  • Not one, but two mini contests on the forums, where you’ll be able to obtain beta access and exclusive avatars to boot.
  • A pretty big crafty contest for all of you creative souls out there, where you will continue to add your own personal touch to the Wakfu game itself. You’ll get all of the information at the end of the month, but until then, here’s a hint: you’ll need a very global outlook to win!
  • And last, but not least, a weeklong in-game event that will require you to sharpen your puzzle solving skills and put on your thinking cap! Be warned, you’ll need astute knowledge of Wakfu to get through!

For those of you who shy from a tan and will probably be sitting at your computers this summer, we have a few more things up our sleeves. To make sure you don’t miss anything, don’t forget to follow the news on the official website or check out the devtracker on the Wakfu forums!

And for all of you going on holiday: be safe, and bring us back some of that sunshine!!

Here are the avatars that the winners will get to choose from:

If you're part of the winners, just send me a PM, tell me which one you would like and I'll change your avatar.

You can also decide to have one made from your own set - if your set is among the winners that will be created ingame.

Create-a-set Contest Results

It wasn’t an easy task to determine the winners of the Create-a-set contest - we’ve received numerous unique and wonderful artworks, but a choice had to be made. The judges, Sephy, Zidrune and myself, have come to a consensus.

The sets were judged on creativity, originality, humour and coherence with the Wakfu universe. We’ve chosen the top 3, and have two special mention categories, one for arsenal, and the other for the Jury’s individual favorites!

Create-a-set results

We know you’ve waited a long time for this, so here are the results!

Top 3 Winners

3rd place – Tied: Amaknian Hero Set

AppelPear's participation
Who doesn’t love Easter eggs? ApplePear’s simple and funny Zelda inspired set easily made its way to the judge’s hearts!

“The Master’s Hammer - It is said that only a true hero may pull the sacred sword from the stone. When you attempted to take it, it remained steadfast in the stone. The stone, however, did not remain steadfast on the ground. "

Judges: We loved the funny descriptions, the cape-shield idea, and the leafy twist on a real classic! Well done.

3rd place –Tied: Shokanto Set

Labija's participationInspired by ancestral Chinese militia armaments, Labija’s set owes its name to the martial art of Shotokan, a style of karate. One thing’s for sure - this set has quite a kick to it!

“Armor Back Story - The armor had been lost for over a millennium, few know where it might have been, and only few remember the armor’s past. Those who have seen it, say that sometimes, its former owner comes back to the land of the living to contemplate its beauty.”

Judges: We loved the strong feel of the armor and the idea behind it, also how you’ve taken existing elements of the game and transformed them to create a great end-result! Way to go!

2nd place: Fish Knight Set

GoldfishGold's participationSecond place goes to GoldfishGod’s hilarious depiction of a goldfish set! What better way to go fishing undercover than as a giant fish?

“Armor Back Story - The Fish Knights were a group of knights who looked to the Eastern martial arts to develop their skills. Seeing that many of the martial arts were based on animal forms, they decided to develop their own style based on that of their local wildlife. As a fishing community, the animal they chose was the fish.”

Judges: We loved that it was fun, easily adaptable and that it reminded us of Japanese mascots. We’re looking forward to seeing little fishies walking around! Good job!

1st place: Panflutae Set

Eversapce's participationFirst place goes to Everspace’s flute set! These wooden charms charmed all of the judges who voted for it unanimously!

“Armor Back Story - This set of wooden equipment was created by a mad musician, and resident lumberjack, who happened to go a little axe crazy. It didn't manage to keep the wood's original shape, but what it has captured is the music that flows through the pipes, and the whisper of the trees that they once came from."

Judges: We loved the style, the originality, and how well adapted it is to the game. Sephy can’t wait to make it! Congratulations!

And that’s what brings our top 3 to a close! Congratulations to all of our winners!

And now for the special mentions…

Arsenal Special Mention

Arsenal winner: The Fish Shovel

Two different fish sets were submitted and we had to choose between them - we opted for the other but still loved Oamoka’s Suspicious Set (especially her funny weapon)! We loved it so much we decided to make a special prize category just for it!

“If life gives you lemons, cook them with fish. Everything goes better with lemon!”

The Judge’s Favorites

Here are the judge’s individual favorites – apart from the top 3.

Sephy’s Favorite

The Distorted Set made by GoldfishGold was Sephy’s favorite.

“Someone, somewhere, got lost... very very lost. But found something as well. And it broke his mind. He's still lost, but the fruits of his new mind have made their way back to civilisation. The objects are generally a mixture of bizarre, alien shapes and unnatural surfaces and materials.”

Sephy: I really like it… it’s so conceptual! Love the idea behind it… It inspires me to do something completely different yet similar in spirit. We’ll see what comes of it!

Kaoly’s Favorite

The Scientist Set made by Sargnagel was Kaoly’s favorite!

“Scientist Manteau - The usual and well known clothing piece of every Scientist. Keeps your clothes clean while blowing stuff up in the lab.”

Kaoly: Love the scientist look! I think you did a good job and would’ve loved to see it ingame, but unfortunately that’s not technically possible. Hopefully sometime in the future it might be. ?

Zidrune’s Favorite

The Alien Set made by MushroomFiend was Zidrune’s favorite!

"These shoulderpads aren't compensating for anything I can assure you. Imagine being crash tackled by one of these suckers... yea thats what I though. These pads have a bit of wear and tear but their hard exoskeleton will keep them in good nick for many millenia to come."

Zidrune: I had to congratulate you for this set! The conception and realization are very well done! The only thing I find regretful is that it doesn’t fit the Wakfu universe.

And with that, the contest results have come to a close, congratulations to all of you!

The top 3 will see their sets added ingame and will receive a copy of their own set. Also, as a bonus reward for all 7 winners, you will get to choose between a few ‘create-a-set’ avatars on the forums, or have one made out of your own set! =)

Many thanks to all those who participated! You’ve all done wonderful work, we’re just sorry we couldn’t have all of you win.
Congratulations once again and see you in the next contest!

[Official] Which is the Best Class? With two classes, Enutrof and Sadida, still to be added, the game-designers wanted to know what gameplay features you prefer, in order to possibly incorporate them in the new classes. =)

So please voice your opinion and don’t hesitate to leave a comment!

Wakfu Update Hey guys,

As you might have noticed, there have been no Dev Hours or updates recently, but don’t worry, you haven’t been forgotten!

As you know “beta” is synonymous with “work in progress” but it also means that nothing is set in stone and that everything could change at any given time. And so, the game-designers and developers have decided to take in your advice, and look at the different aspects of the game and gameplay, and make the necessary modifications.

Everyone is quite busy and since we are analyzing what needs to be changed there is very little to share with you at present.
We will keep you updated as soon as we can.

Also, please note that there will not be a patch in June.

Kaoly

Hey guys,

We've deliberated and we've chosen the winners already. ^^

You should get the results pretty soon!

Also, I've given access to the beta to all participants.

Kaoly

PS. You guys really are the best, I hope you know that. =)

Hey Guys!

Sorry for not posting earlier, but I was away last Friday and by the time I got back, the info had already changed and, what was posted on the French side was no longer 100% accurate. I was waiting for it to be set in stone to post it for you, but to this day, it still isn't, and I think you've waited long enough.
So, without further ado, I'll give you the info I have now, my apologies for it being a bit vague...

Things do change pretty quickly around here, and the schedule for patches has been on the operating table all week.

So I cannot assure you that there will be a patch in June, because there might not be.

And I cannot confirm that your characters will be reset with the next patch, it might not happen.

There might be a wipe, but there also might not be. It's under discussion.

I can tell you what the different teams are working on, but since a lot of changes are under way, you might not see these changes in the next patch.

Here is a little preview list of what is being worked on : the two last classes (Sadida and Enutrof), challenges, interfaces, crafts, diseases, wakfu/stasis balance.
And of course, the usual - class balancing and bug fixes.

You should see big modifications to all of those, but we cannot guarantee when you will see them.
