The result of this changes still isn't here. Many people declared, that they quit, but I'm pretty sure they are staying to use their last ogrines. Then they will quit and then you will finally see, how terrible these changes were.

I'd like to see more air + something-else-than-water gear. I mean, on 100+ lvl there are like 10 air/water sets and only few different air sets. Idk, what was the reasoning behind this. Was the designer in love with air/water hybrids or what?

He's got a point tho. They did release the game too soon, when it was in very early stage. But Ankama wanted Wakfu to make money already. Most of the players left, because they didn't want to pay for a game with very small content, bazillion bugs and awful class balance.
And that problem is still here. Today, the designers have to make the content ridiculously grindy just so they have enough time to release new things.




Oh and if you think, that Wakfu is in bad spot right now, just wait few months. Many people still play only because they still have some p2p time left. And they aren't going to refresh their subscription with new ogrine/p2p prices.
Also I'm pretty sure, that until then Ankama will come up with another idea to squeeze more money out of the players. They can't spam "buy multimen!" posts forever, they will need something else to keep the money income.

Just look at the numbers of views of those trailers and compare it to the views of trailers of another games. That's how good Ankama is at advertising and that's why the population in Wakfu is so low.

I don't have anything against complicated content as long as:
1) It doesn't take few hours to do 1 dungeon. And if it does, the drop rates of items aren't ridiculously low
2) You don't need specific classes to do it, you can just get 6 random classes on the right level and have a chance to finish every dungeon.


Otherwise developers failed their job and it's next to impossible to farm high level content for anyone, but multiaccounters.

In case you misunderstood or read only the title, this isn't thread about zwombits, but about game difficulty and its future in general.
1 players on 6 accounts with the right classes will always have easier time doing content than 6 one account players playing random classes. And Ankama balances the difficulty around that multiaccounters, so it's too hard for 1 account players.
And I'm not talking only about the difficulty of fights, but also the rate of drops and the length of dungeons.

Of course, it's Ankama's fault for not only allowing people to multi, but also promoting that way of play. And the complete lack of advertising Wakfu outside of France to bring more players.
But advertising costs, so it's not an option. 1 player playing on 1 account = X times less money than 1 player on X accounts, so it's not an option. That's how Ankama thinks. That way of thinking eventually will lead to the end of Wakfu, just like Dofus. But Ankama doesn't care about the future, they want as much money as possible right here, right now.

You "just" need to have the right classes and perfectly coordinated team. It's pretty big problem, if you're trying to make a team of 6 players. You probably won't find all the needed classes and builds. You may not have good enough team synergy.
And even if you finally find the right team, how often will 6 people have enough time to do the dungeons? Way not enough to get items with ridiculously low drop rate.

But there is a solution - multiaccounting. Create few alts and suddenly all those problems aren't that big. Need some specific class to kill the boss? Just create new alt and leech him to high level in 1 week. Team synergy? You have perfect synergy if you play with yourself. Did I mention, you can gather 6 "man" group for dungeon whenever you want?

I told you some time ago. Ankama will balance the game difficulty around multiaccounters, just like they did in Dofus. And this situation will become only worse.

Who are you guys talking to? Everyone knows, that all those multimen commercials are becoming silly. Probably even Sabi realizes that. But he/she got an order to spam those threads from his/her french supervisors, who don't even read english forum.

Have you tried "use all MP in every turn" challenge vs MP stealing mobs?

1) The mob steals your MP.
2) Your turn comes, you use all the remaining MP and end with 0.
3) Your turn ends, the -MP debuff ends and you get your stolen MP back.
4) And now, after all of that, the challenge checks, is your MP 0. And of course it's not, even if you used all MP you had in your turn.

I agree with you, but Ankama will balance the game around six boxers, just like they did in Dofus. They're already doing it, just look at the relics or how much time does it take to do high level dungeon.

That would be the best solution. But if you make the relics too easy to get, the hardcore multi accounts players would get them too fast and they wouldn't have anything else to do in game. And then they might quit, before Ankama releases new contet.
Ankama will rather make things in Wakfu extremely grindy to keep the players busy.
