but that requires a willpower build.

dont get me wrong i tried it out and it can work with "luck" because power doesnt always apply.

beside that charge will put u right in front of your enemy and if you were not lucky enough to stun that person u will be in a shitton of trouble.

how to be an effective earth iop? greetings reader,

so i been playing with an earth iop for ages and for some reason i get punched to a pulp on every corner,

now I'm not talking about only pve or pvp.
im talking about both.

in pve its damage output is allot lower then that of a fire iop, (wrath being op as shit)
and the air damage output is almost 40% higher then earth currently. (due to equipment)

in pvp a fire iop just walks up to you and uses wrath 1 or 2 times (crit if ur unlucky) and it blows you up into tiny little bits.
air iop like i said haves an overall 1k damage output during pvp. (unless ur resistance is higher then average)


the thing I'm getting at is that earth iops do not have the amount of damage those 2 elements have.
1 of the main reasons being that both air and fire have ALLOT of good equipment that can brings your elemental damage to 500~600% and that is before adding additional power %.

2ndly is basically the fact that a earth iop needs an 8th AP and that is only granted by adding an additional 1 point to ap (150 points = 75 points in str = 37.5% damage)
sure i could get +2 ap with equipment but that would mean i will have to sacrifice equipment for it and seeing that earth doesn't have that much of an good selection its not really an option at the moment.


so here's my question to you,

what can 1 do to make an earth iop more effectively in combat?

it happened again. ok so i just came to the realization that my bandage gear (the close beta reward items)
could be merged.

but here is my problem.

less then 1 week ago i deleted them because of the lack of space i had. . .

so here I'm now asking,
do you guys do this on purpose? (dunno how its spelled)

1st it was the elemental equipment which could not be traded and everyone deleted it. and now they added the merge item stuff.

I'm not mad or anything, just frustrated that i if i saved it 1 more week i could have merged it to save space.

and beside that, why was it not mentioned in the update changes? or did i miss it?

new glitches and bugs, i know this should be placed in the technical issue departments but for now its best to show it to everyone.

so i thought id summer up some of the new glitches that showed up after the patch.
IF there are glitches/bugs that i didnt mention write them down below.

ankama, if you release new content and/or new dialog for "anything" doesn't Mather what/where

make sure it is in the right language. . . .

remington's new hint is all in french and tbh i know not a single word of french.

1st thing I'm going to do is find a Monk dungeon party. (seeing that world bosses are out of the question)

after that i head over to the new place and see what i can do (if not everything haves been killed yet)

also the rune smiting seems interesting to try

Pvp/PvE arena Greetings reader,

so as the downtime continues more things pop into my head.
1 of them being an arena.

currently we are facing a problem with the "endgame" content.
being that its ultimately dull and pvp comes in the most annoying moments.

so my thought was, how about an arena?
shown in an earlier video posted by ankama were Captain made a costum arena it brought up the urge from people to have an actual pvp area.

the arena should consist out of multiple aspects,
being, pvp AND PvE

1, 1v1 PvP.
2, group PvP.
3, solo PvE.
4, group PvE.

each battlefield is or user or randomly generated.

the reason i bring PvE into this is that there are times were you want to test out a tactic on your own or with a group of friends.

((i remember some time ago were my party got totally annihilated by an organized group and this would be a great place to test out group builds and/or tactics))

keep in mind that PvE in the arena will NOT grand you any exp or items.

tho it would be nice to consider adding special PvP rewards (not PvE).

the most ideal place to put this arena would be in old astub. BOOM right in the center of that old city..
why you ask? well look at it this way,

subbed members can duel in the arena and non subs could enjoy a free show. see what classes are out there and see what class they might enjoy playing most..

anyways this was Fancore and i talked enough for now.

What is there left to do? Greetings reader,

so lately i have a hard time entertaining myself in wakfu.
as a lvl 94+ character i find it rather boring how the current way is going.

sure people might suggest "lvl up to lvl 100" but with the current exp system its hard to get motivated for it. specially since 99% of the people i know are always at the wild gobbals. (which don't give the greatest of exp but are to easy to fight)

so basically what I'm getting at is,

what is there left to do?
sure with the new dungeon coming out later today it might keep us entertained a little while longer but even that will die out in a week or so.

Pvp is not really an option due to the major inballancement.
and crafting is flat-out so dull that it makes me place the game on and off.

sure one can say "make a new character" but like i stated before in this and another topic, everyone is plvling at the wild gobbals.

black crow's sword

+22% air damage
+20 ini
+4% critical
+120 hp
+1 ap.

or

Crobak dagger (perfect)

+24% air (48 %)
+73 hp (146 hp)
+10 ini (20 ini)
+3% critical. (6 %)

which one would u rather have?
seeing that the daggers have ALOT more air damage output and more hp/critical.

will this 26% more air damage be better then 1ap?

there is no point in aggro the ones that attack the worldboss. because they have a sram inbattle with the boss at all times untill THEY are ready to fight the boss.

that is how we wasted 30minutes waiting for the single sram to die/end its fight with the worldboss.
and by the time he ended the match hyu and his gang took the boss before we could even realize the battle ended.

and let me tell you, randomize wont work.

1 sram will hide for as long as it takes for hyu and his party to assemble.
and the reason im saying hyu is because he and his gang ARE basically the only ones that can fight the bosses because of the sram.

all equipment (except for makabra) are cosmetic without any value.

like a good friend totalbiscuit once said,

sometime funding will end. you rather have them removing the whole project or have them release it incomplete.

personaly the way i see it is that they ran out of funding for wakfu (not going to get dofus involved here)
and they have to release it prematurely.
sure there are allot of problems with the game but unless they get money out of somewhere they cant work on it.

developing isn't free,

My issues with the World bosses. My issueso several days ago i thought "lets wait for the black crow" and after the reset the black crow appeared. (yay)

so finaly i thought to have a chance of fighting him,
but to no surprice it was already being attacked by???

1 sram. . . .

the sram was fighting on its own against the black crow by hiding every turn.
not even attacking the boss but just hiding there. waiting roughly 30~45 minutes before mysteriously
summoned 5 other players on the field.

now it might have been that the sram ended the match and that the other team got him before others did.
that isnt what bothers me the most.

what bothers me the most is that it is "hyu's" team that once again fights the world boss.
now people can say i bitch moan and complain allot but if there is always just 1 guild that "can" do the world bosses i call it total bullshit.

others should at least have a chance of fighting the world bosses as well. but being camped by 1 sram so his/her guild can murder everyone and then get the worldboss without other's even attacking them.

sure randomize the boss spawn. it wont change a damn thing because there will always be 1 sram waiting at its spawn location and do everything over again.
