Goverment and politcs changes suggestions
Hi fellow wakfu players from nox and remington.
I made this thread to discuss some of the ideas I had to have a better politic gameplay and NvsN.
Fist let me say that my english is not the best and that this is a system sugestion. what I mean is that I wont show any real values or numbers
So the first thing I want to introduce is:
Nation Insignia
As the name says, it is an Insgnia (insig). It would be similar to the old guild Insignia: it starts as a poor hat, grow sto a fullbody tematic insig, and ends like a graceful fullbody insignia. Has the lvl of the insignia grows the
stats it have grows too.
How does the Insig lvl up? It is proportional to your Nation Rank (making cp points more useful)
What stats does it give? Later I'll tell you.
(Note: you don't have to equip it to get the stats)
The new Goverment
My Ideas for the gov are quite simple. First when you go to elections you have show who your three (yes only 3) minister will be. What are the obligations of these 3?
Minister of War:
Can promote citizens to soldier or guards (the Nation Insig changes to the current soldier/guard Insig design and gains bonus stats when pvp outlaws or clan members) or take away that title from them.
Can talk in a new chat: "
army chat", (only soldiers and guards of the nation can see it) and that way control is troops in manhunts or island assaults.
Can costomize bonus the soldiers/guard gains:

%resist or
Block&lock or
AP,MPsteal resist&+1range
Minister of Ecology:
Can protect plants and animals (impossible to touch it for 3days).
Can change weather.
Can put seeds, cuttings,seeds etc in resources bank. And use them in a menu that let him plant them automatic in x area. (this makes ecology less boring for players so that they have less time cleaning others mess)
Minister of economy:
Can upgrade the space of the bags in the market and kick bags from it.
Can move money to clan members
Can change taxes
Can buy Increased key %drops in nation areas
There would also be 5 other members in the "gov" -
the Elites.
Chosen randomly from the higher lvl'd and higher ranked citizens.
The only role they have is to see and discuss with the gov their options; they can see the private gov chat.
Once the gov is elected...
They have to choose some options of how they rule:
º Peacefull Nation : grants to the Nation Insignia +wis +%harvest speed +%walking speed :O
º "Warfull" Nation : grants to the Nation Insignia +pp +%dmg +willpower :O
Tipe of Gov:

Monarchy: The gov chooses everything

Democracy: When the gov changes laws, a 5min referendum will appear. if it has more negative votes, there will be no changes.

Aristocracy: only the gov
and the elites vote in the referendum

(Note: This is a hot topic because it is needed to have similar quantities of players in every nation to the wars to be fair. especially if every island and clan member becomes conquerable.
I can tell not everyone will like this part of the suggestion since it takes decisions from the player.)
The system to balance nations is simple: a draft pick from 3 in 3 months.
During the last month of the 3 Month period ankama counts the number of characters subscribed in each nations.
After that a draft starts.
Every nation has to have at least 20% of max server subbed population.
If a nation has less, people will be invited to join that nation, and if there aren't enough people joining...
random people will be transfered from the nation with higher population until the 20% cap is reached.
Note: I decided to stop here because writing more would just make a giant wall of text that nobody would read. I failed to say: all islands give bonus, and that the gov should get more laws, like blocking zaaps to people from other nations and blocking people to use other nations markets.
