The air spell Assault does however give an alternative since it's now no los at lvl 91. Range 4 and modifiable too.
It's straight line only but still very handy.

Sorry for off-topic but has anyone figured out what triggers him jumping up in second stage? We've had runs where he doesn't do it at all, and runs where he's done it several times.

The problem I adressed is quasi monopolies.
They happen because of the low playerbase meeting the low drop rates. Supply is pretty distorted then. Was only trying to simplify for the OP. But even with distorted/low supply the rule still applies.

If I just went MS>Assault>Assault>Attraction I wouldn't be pulling them at all either unless I chanced dodging it, thoughts? Assaults range is raised with the spells lvl and is now also modifiable by +range gear and points.

that you guys haven't anecdotally experienced a statistical anomaly does not mean it hasn't happened.
it can be tested on gear more common than whisper bp, that shouldn't be a team roll by your reasoning, like say tofu shovels, helms, or cloaks. I've seen it personally with a tofu helm. though it is easy to prove and hard to falsify. I'm not saying I am right, I am saying you are wrong.

Haven't seen multiple rare drops from ordinary mobs either. Chrolo is right, screenshots or it hasn't happened.
