I'd be inclined to agree with you Gnome, but this is just another stop sign on the intersection of Ankama's lies. In all seriousness though, it does make a difference because the explanation for the NPC's isn't very strong. Every NPC has AI, making them just a little bit more 'realistic' doesn't really change the definition. The Wakfu site itself, as Goldfish has so handily pointed out, contradicts Ankama's new stance itself. You may call it nitpicking, but it is disappointing, at the very least.

Eh guys, I just want to make sure you're all joining the forum. The link is in Aryx' post, but I'll just place it here for easy reference. Here.

This is another fine example of something that you would think would have been easier to re-write onto whatever software they are using the same way it is on the current version of Dofus. At least I would think it would be easier to have transferred over as is as opposed to rewriting the mechanics so that it was the way Dofus was back in the day. But then again that could be me making an assumption based on my limited knowledge of how program writing works.

As great as it would be for them to be able to copy-pasta code from Dofus into Wakfu, it won't really be happening. They're both written in two different programming languages, Dofus in Flash and Wakfu in Java. Not only that, but copying code from a previous project would still require them to work around with it to get it to work with their existing code, even if both Dofus and Wakfu were written in the same language.

Hey everyone, it's Spokesman Saber over here! I'd just like to bring to everyone's attention that the forum for Solace is now done, thanks to a lot of work on my part. It is available here, and I recommend everyone gives it a good once over. I hope we get many more members!

Also, before I end this post, I would just like to say that, although Solace does indeed wish to bring in veteran members of this forum, we have no aversion to the common man here, and we will take anyone into the guild, provided they can post an introduction, and they can follow the rules of the forum. Hope to see many, many more members take part in the glory that is Solace. We're nothing without you, because as Sal put it "Per iunctum nos increbresco!" although I much prefer Disce aut Discede! There's one for you Latin buffs.

I'd like a little bit more information on what exactly you all plan to accomplish. Are you just going to write fanfiction and make fan art?

Ah, your art is as great as ever, if not better Sev. I still love your Sram+Unicorn picture, and the picture of Levithius(?). Man, I can just never get his name right.

Also, the characters of Sram, Feca, and Iop are all named after the developer's favourite snacks. Feca backwards is cafe, which corresponds to coffee. Iop corresponds to Yop, a yogurt drink created by Yoplait. Sram refers to Mars, a particular type of choclate bar.

EDIT: I've got to say that was the coolest typo ever.

Eh, I'm already a member, but I suppose I can make it clear enough.

QUOTE
Nickname: Saber

Real Life Age: 16

Persona/Attitude: Fun loving, always joking around, kind

Gaming History: I've beta tested numerous games, including Wakfu, SMT:Imagine, and more. I've played even more, and a list of them would take up too much space to be economical in such a situation.

Played Wakfu/Dofus (Yes or No): Yes, and yes.

Interests/Likes: Well, I love chocolate, especially chocolate ice cream. But caramel is pretty nice as well. Ice cream in general tends to be pretty awesome.

Reasons for Joining: I wish to join because I've planned to play Wakfu from day one, and I'm not averse to working with Sal, or any other of the aforementioned veterans of this forum. I've been in a few guilds, and none of them really flew, so I'm hoping this is here to last.

Goal in Wakfu: To have fun, first and foremost, although I eventually plan to initiate a Wakfu tournament scene, which would be run with help from the players themselves.
