i still think the water branch was the biggest mistake Ankama could have made to this class, the Air branch was so much more flexible and given all other air branches on other classes, ecaflip air branch had the highest damage output for an air branch.

Here's an idea, why doesn't the Shushu attach itself to your character like a "Semi-permenant" Insignia.

each Shushu has different traits, strengths and weaknesses, some may increase your Damage % but reduce your overall resistances.

others more powerful Shushu may give you +1 AP, but reduces your Range by 1-2.


Heres the twist.


Depending on the Rank/Level of the Shushu that determines how strong it is, it has a base % of taking over your body during a fight, transforming you into a more demonic form and as stated before attacking both allies and enemies indiscriminately.

a overwhelmingly powerful Shushu would have a 50% chance every turn of possibly taking over, where a less powerful Shushu might have a 10% chance.

now this % chance can be modified, by your actions in game, such as, dying too much will show weakness in your character, increasing this %, also actions like increases Stasis will increase % chance.

to decrease, things like helping your nation, gaining Wakfu, hunting down Rogue players, showing strength by getting the killing blow on a Boss monster will reduce this % chance.

So there are three specific shushus to each race/class, one for each element. To find these shushu's you must first find a demon finder's stone, which will be a random drop from an enemy(with extremely low chances). I only get one shot. The spell is great, say I hit then teleport away and gain cloak, and the passive is good too, Any monster within a 3 cell circle radius has it's perception lowered. I pick one. I now have a shushu cloak. Rinse and repeat for fire and water, which give me two spells(depending on element) and an active or passive skill(two passive and one active skill for each class to pick from)

Remington fits this mold, his guns each got a water and fire spell while his boomerang gives him a passive skill extending his range a good 2 cells.
I like to think this would work as a shushu system for the game.


i like this idea, but theres 1 flaw in this thinking, a Shushu isn't like a Livitinem, you can't just attached it and detach it from pieces of inanimate objects, once it's a part of something, it's permenant, why equip it to a level 10 ammy, your no longer gonna use at level 50? having it attached to a item equippable based on your level would make it obsolete, unless you attach it to something like a Makabra weapon, that levels up with you and gets stronger over time? that would surely be more useful

im going to go with Joris being a dragon, first off dragons can assume a humanoid form that does look somewhat off key.

then theres the fact that Joris Jorgen? Jormungand was a dragon who has a name very similar to this spelling, it's a theory but does carry alot of weight? maybe Joris is one of the generation of dragons who was born without an eliatrope brother/sister.

Or was he....?

And lets be fair here, awesome physical strength, the ability to rend razortime in 2 with a very simple gesture, putting people to sleep by merely touching them? such potent physical and magical power? he can only be a dragon.

and the next point, being over 1000 years old? surviing Ogrest flood? i think only a dragon could pull that off.

[Vote]Water tree is rubbish, bring back the Air Branch! As the title suggest.

I think Ankama should scrap this water branch, it's underpowered beyond belief, it's unusable, nonviable, and they believe that revamping it will make it better?

i strongly disagree, the air branch was so much better and more useful, i think Ankama should re-integrate the air branch of ecaflip and get rid of this poor excuse for an elemental tree in this class.

dont get so bent out of shape, this is a normal thing for Ankama, they always say update from 7-11.

but then its like "oh we need an extra hour just to faff about in the office before we start"
then its "and after that we need another hour for ritualistic prayer over our success"
then theres "then we need an hour lunch before we open servers"

and during this time!

Um slight error with your storybook there, it wasn't their greed for Wakfu that invited the Mechasms to lay waste to them, one of the council members turned traitor and did something to spark a war with the Mechasms.

if they found ancient training grounds and the Vili place on Dofus, underneath Astrub, 1000 years before wakfu, they are already fully aware of Eliatropes existence and culture.

I sincerely doubt it will take 1000 years to learn of a civilizations Goddess or a god they worshiped in that time, i believe their god is known in Wakfu, hell there is a server named after the Eliatrope main character from Islands of Wakfu, who is the new Eliatrope Goddess.

I still stand by the fact, if a human was to start worshiping the Eliatrope Goddess, we would have a class that can play the same way an Eliatrope does, and take on the physical aspect and powers that the Eliatrope Goddess would bestow upon him/her, it's not impossible to make that a reality, infact it's quite easy to do it without Retcon the lore or story and keep it believable and not being some sort of Deus Ex Machina.

yeah i understand a point but i does also say on the wiki that stasis is part of a state of equilibrium, so again brings me back to the point, you cannot have Wakfu without Stasis, and you cannot have Stasis without Wakfu.

If you going to have a Stasis Elemental Tree, then you need a Wakfu Elemental Tree.

It's not impossible to have an Eliatrope class?

Allow me to explain, one thing about Wakfu/Dofus LORE that Ankama seem to be forgetting about.

Every race is human, once they worship a god, they take on the appearance and the attributes that god bestows upon then, Worship god iop, you learn the powers of iop, your eyes turn white, your hair goes super sayjin (lol) etc etc.

So what do you think would happen if a human were to start worshiping the Eliatrope Goddess? i think we would have a Pseudo-Eliatrope class because of this fact.

But can i add? there is a reason for the region locks, and thats because they don't have that many servers as compared to dofus, it's abit harsh to assume Remington for example could handle the stress of globally amount of players logging onto to it? the server would be full in a fortnight, i suspect Ankama would release the region lock once they have enough server to accommodate a global mix in any 1 server.
