Elemental change surprise shot So now that gun skills are earth... why is surprise shot still water element? Unless you seperatly level water up for the sole purpose to surprise shot, shoulden't it be air?

Isn't that what Rogue is about? Crossed Elements? Earth boosts fire, air helps earth... that's how it should be, surprise shot doing air dmg.

For my understand to that passive (well I just guess since my rogue still very low lv --) when surprise shot active after your earth shot successful land to enemy already

It just use 30% of Earth Dmg then change element to water before another dmg from "surprise shot" land to enemy again(it not calculate from original water damage i think)


Well that my guess, still waiting for who really research about this to help for true answer....

Surprise shot deals 30% of that SKILL damage, in water.
So if your skill does 100 dmg, it deals 30 water damage.


Or atleast that's how I think it is..

It deals 30% FINAL DAMAGE.


That means if your piercing shot deals 40 damage, the surprise shot WILL deal 12 damage.

Seems abit pointless the dmg is pretty low.. why not have it as air?

Its not low really. Use pulsar with 6AP and 6MP or possibly more AP? and watch suprise shot activate. Not to mention it takes the final damage meaning if u crit, it hits 40% of that damage as a extra. Could also be good because of the amount of earth elementers in this game, thus they have less resist to water damage. Its still a 40% damamge increase no matter how u look at it, but in its own way harder/easier to counter.

To make it clear as a critical point, even if you have 1000% water damage bonus, the surprise shot will still only do 30% of what the original earth shot has done after taking earth damage bonus and the target earth's resistance into account.
