A round of applause for the SE team Take a break from the day to day complaints and struggles with this poor excuse for an MMO and thank the SE team. They're in the unenviable position of managing the community of a game they have no control over. They're handed *** from Ankama, be it vague incomplete translations of patches or notices that are sure to infuriate the players. They have to deal with a community turned to trolling for any entertainment. They have to convey the endless lists of bugs back to Ankama with no control over when they'll be fixed.

And through all that they've remained professional and courteous. They're not perfect but they're quite good and I think that courtesy alone has contributed to the illusion that this game might be fixable. So yea, thanks. It must suck to be you.

Anywho, I think that's it for me. So long Wakfu. It's been a long and enchanting ride from that very first french speaking beta and it's a shame that my last post is one of commiseration with the poor yahoos actually stuck with it.

Old lady-zerker appearance. Note the ponytail and delicate pink blush. Hubba hubba.

"No, no, I totally didn't log onto his account and empty the guild bank. See here's a message from his account that says he did it. Because that's a totally normal thing and not something that someone logging his account would type."

Sorry I shouldn't get involved in situations I know nothing about. Hard to resist that one though.

At least it's not spreading like the old zombie plague.

Idea for a Geology change: chance of a gold mine becomes chance to start on a mine.

The only char I still play is enu and I'm begging here, Ankama, don't buff it. I've seen the "balance" pendulum in action on other classes. Enu is perfect as is.

(Sad how little faith we have in the developers but they're just so consistently ham handed with balance one can't help but live in terror of "fixes" to your char)

Signed. Inventory is a problem the devs need to know we're having.

Nope pheles glyph just hits everyone in AoE 2 of the activated cell everytime it's triggered.

It had to be changed. Old pheles mechanic plus the new glyph damage would have been absolutely devastating with a little luck. Do miss it though.

Yep. It seems like it's the fix to the empty bags. When you would have gotten an empty bag, you get one of these new candies now.

That was an entirely reasonable reply Kewlkid. You already have a spell that does what you want. If you don't want to max it, then you don't get its max benefits. Simple as that.
but also say you placed 4 defensive orb glyphs and your in the center, they push you and they get into the center, thats wen the push or pyrotechnics like move comes in
Maybe you shouldn't use that strategy vs classes that can knock you out of glyphs? If you only use two glyphs adjacent to each other they can't block both.

I know not having double your opponent's AP will be scary at first but you may want to get practice in now before the announced rebalance anyway.

Was fiddling a bit and found that Blam! will actually set off any bomb in its AoE, which is interesting if you've got a set up going, thought it's only really useful if it's at the end of the attack, so you're not eating the damage too.
Also, I deny you this, sir. I tried it as soon as I read against a Feca of Destiny, and it simply removed 1 charge from both of my bombs.

Well, I can't say much for what happened with you, but I've used it the turn after placing a bomb and it's blown up.
Perhaps it's a bug with where it is on the T. I'll have to use it more later. I'm reinstalling the game right now.

EDIT:
That was fast, It seems the bombs will lose a tick when something is on them as well, since I just had a bomb with two charges go off while I was standing on it. This should explain why I was able to blow up bombs that should have had more then one charge.

But it certainly would have been nice if we had a better way to detonate them, wouldn't it?
Bombs lose a charge when their cell is hit. You standing on the bomb while the enemy probably hit you. Bomb loses a charge, goes to 1 and then at the start of your turn hits zero and detonates.

20% damage is nothing. It's one piece of gear or less.

Short answer: yes. Bomb has to count down for the AP proc.

Why on earth does everyone feel like they need to hybridize because they have leftover specialty points from air. Air with 3 skills maxed kicks the ass of fire with every skill maxed.

You can play around with buffs and tricks all you want but fire's abysmally low base damage per AP can't be saved even by 120% damage simply cause air's base damage per AP is over half again more efficient even before you add MP only and WP only damage. After that is added in it's at least 4 times better base damage. Unless you're somehow getting 400%+ dmg from buffs, fire will be lucky to do half the damage of the air tree.

The hybridizing into fire will only end in tears for an air rogue. And main fire, will likely be an exercise in frustration. The only silver lining is the inevitable buff at some point.

Edit: I should point out that this is the opinion of someone who desperately wanted to make an effective fire rogue. I don't see how it can be built to remain competitive.

If you read the rogue book it says that bombs combos were replaced by bomb's AoEs getting bigger when placed near each other. Big whoop.

You're not forced to anything. Go pure air, rock ini, and leave the rest of those points sitting stale in the bank til Ankama figures out its arse from a whole in the ground, so to speak.

It is a nerf, obviously. A single look at the economy will show you the cause. Barring extreme circumstances like starry's abysmal drop (to be fixed thank the twelve) or the worldbosses, equipment is ludicrously abundant and easy to acquire.

Rather than shrink the drop rates to frustratingly low levels it appears Ankama is simply making it require more coordination (reaching locks) to drop things. Probably the best solution available that will cause the least outrage. Also unlikely to be enough. Nigh irreparable damage is done to the economy already. Perhaps the twin shocks of this and the new demand from smithmagic will get it back on track. I have my doubts.

As others have said, enu is still the drop class. It really effects nothing but a few less mat drops and a couple fractions of a percent for the rares. So quit whining.

Also hilarious is his assertion that prospecting was a terrible build. With treasure tracker at max it was only a 30% dmg difference than going full chance with those 300 points. Oh no 11 damage off my rascalry! Whatever shall I do?

Seriously the pvp difference between pp and full chance is minimal. Water enu isn't stellar at pvp because they're usually static and have no escape move or map control, not because they spent points in prospecting.

But hey, maybe full chance enus unlock a spec that makes enemies stand perfectly still with their backs to the enu.
