PC/PS3/PSP version?

PC/PS3/PSP version? The game seems fun, but to be honest, I'm not planning on ever buying an xbox, and I'm sure I'm not the only person who have/will have another console instead of Xbox (specially since most/all other ankama games are for PC), it would be awesome if it could be released on anything else.

I guess not, some games are launched in different consoles , the player have to live with it, is not like they will change an market campaign for a few players... just leave it and play wakfu, and watch an youtube walktrough about islands of wakfu.

Watching is not the same as playing, you can't even possibly compare them, its far, far far from being the same thing.
But this is a suggestion, not a demand, so I know that they probably won't do it and I won't play the game.

As LeoAdeliet has said I wouldn't get my hopes too high, BUT there were games which were released exclusively XboxLIVE that later were ported to PS3/PC, as Limbo.

Usually the guy who decides which plataform a game will run on is the publisher, very rarely a game developer will show allegiance to one plataform by making it exclusive, which I don't think is the Ankama's case since for what I can remember PS3 has more popularity in Europe than the Xbox360 and their big games are on the PC market so they don't have anything to say on the Console War, but I can be wrong. Anyway I would blame Square-Enix for the lack of cookies on the jar. The publisher normally has an interest in making a game go multiplataform, more plataforms more money, but that only happens if a game project has already a good prospect for profit, they sure won't invest more money to port a game that isn't popular, and as much I recognize Ankama produce high quality games their games are not near top of popularity, and the fact that Island of Wakfu is a spin-off of a game that haven't even released yet doesn't help it.

Coding a game for Xbox360 is almost as easy as coding a game for Windows, Island of Wakfu doesn't have a great expectation for profit in the USA and Xbox360 leads the popularity there, it makes sense to release such a minor project on only one plataform. I aint sure but Island of Wakfu doesn't even have physical copy for sale, it's only availabe on Xbox Live Arcade.

My guess is that if Wakfu gets popular when released, Islands of Wakfu probably will get a port for at least PC. If the Ankama's relationship with Square-Enix isn't like the rest of the industry, being indepedent, then I don't think it will ever be ported to anything else, sadly.

Being a PS3 owner myself, I would also love to see IoW being available for it in the future.

I am looking forward to a more "portable" form of Wakfu where i can play anytime anywhere i like. PSP, PS Vita, ipad, iphone, android... these are great market and since the game is developed on flash engine it's not hard to convert them to phone app. Dofus Battle on the iphone has been known to get 4.5 stars in rating and one of the most downloaded phone app on itune. Lets hope they do one for Wakfu too.

It certainly would be awesome to see IoW available on, well, any other platform than Xbox. I've been wanting to play that game for such a long time, yet I cannot really afford buying a new console only for that purpose (at least not now that I've finally gotten myself a PS3). But I suppose all there is left to do now is hoping and waiting, and so maybe one day they will decide to go on Steam or something..
