Think about lv 100, I always think wakfu is a try and not so deeply developped into lv 200 or higher. That is ankamas problem, why there is no lv 145 pets, lv 145 makabras, make it, just make the system work together to lv 200. develop everything base on the future, not just solving the problems now.
Yes, Ankama should make the system work together as level cap increases. I'm not a fan of how Ankama has blinders on when it comes to a lvl 200 cap.
The activation % of some status effects are based on lvl 200. We already went through this as players when spells were useless starting out because the %'s were so low and didn't become useful until the spell hit cap. Which was level 100 at the time. So the %'s were changed to be more useful early on or were made a flat activation rate across all levels. A level 1 Manifold Bramble has an activation rate of 20%. Wow, it's so useful /sarcasm. But now we don't even get to use it at 100% because instead of spells capping at 100 it's now 200 and players can't hit that level yet. So until we get their I'm stuck with a manifold bramble glyph stealing an mp at 78%.
Is having a -1mp glyph activate at 100% so game breaking at level 1 it needs to cost 4ap and only activate at 20% chance? Anyone out there ever spent 4 of their 6ap at level 1 this way?
Why make the game shittier because at some point in the next 10 years we will have a level 200 cap. These special effects should be useful NOW. Not 10 years later. The whole game follows this train of thought. Many specialties and passives are useless when you first get them and need to be invested and leveled up before they are useful.
Make the game FUN NOW and make it even more fantastic as it evolves
. Do not cripple the game in the beginning because 10 years later you have some grand design to have players one day go, "OMG after 200 levels and endless dungeons I can finally ENJOY WAKFU!!"
I guarantee more people will stick around if they get that feeling when they start playing as well.
