A couple ways to make Wakfu run faster.
Options -> Video -> Masquer les murs en Combat
Hides all scenery during combat. Your computer won't render it, so during fights you won't have trees in the way and you won't lag so much.
Pressing Shift+L removes some excessive decoration and scenery of the game. Less detail, but overall faster running.
Ctrl+Alt+Delete -> Process -> Wakfu.exe - Right click this, Priority -> High. This will give Wakfu a LOT more processing power to run with, and often gives a very noticeable increase in quality. Be warned - By doing this, the music becomes jittery, so you might want to have an external source of music

Smaller screen = Less to render = Faster running Wakfu.
